How frightening for the girl from last season. I guess being on TV attracts all kinds. Yikes!
Man I have to find a way to see that show. ROFLOL. I know they'll rerun that thing at some point. I hate to put it on CNN & wait for the promo. But you gotta do what you gotta do. :)
My biggest concern is how the Clinton campaign will try and use Taylor to promote Hillary.
He has just won a gigantic national vote and has been compared to Clinton.
The handwriting is on the wall.
What would you do, if you could prevent that?
She sounds like she is getting much more open with her real personality. McParents have done a terrible job, apparently.
Hope all those behind the scenes at AI enjoy working with her.
Don't think I posted this here yet.
Katherine also criticized Eliot for being short, and said she wasn't interested in dating Taylor or Eliot for that matter. Ace was "flirty" with her, she said.
She also said Taylor was starting to act like a jerk.
It's hard to take someone like her seriously. She is just a 21 year old Valley Girl, after all.
Little by little its all coming out. I almost think that maybe Ryan was asking certain questions KNOWING that she would show her true self.
My wife and I were talking about how much of a good time the guys are likely to have on the bus tour. Ace, Bucky, Chris, Taylor and Elliott all got along great while they were on the show. Speaking as a man that could be a blast. Could you imagine having to spend 3 months driving around the country on a bus with that spoiled brat?
No and according to some gossip I read at another thread Paris isn't thrilled about it either.
Well, he is a good friend to George HW Bush, I know that. The affection shown for GHW Bush in the Ellen skit looks genuine to me. I love this thread about AI, so I don't want to argue about democrats and republicans on it. To this day I dont' know what ANY of the Idols political persuasion is - and I bet AI doesn't want their viewers to know, either.
The other day I was listening to Fox and Friends and either Megan Kendall or Molly Henenburg was thrilled out of her seat because she had a call from Taylor on her cell phone. So maybe he used to watch F and F, who knows!?
Okay..what did you read? Or point to a source - I'll admit I'm curious!
Molly Henneburg is a real babe. Liked her even better when she had platinum blonde hair.
Between his Clinton comments and them performing the Clinton/Gore theme song, I just cringed, but, there is nothing we can do to prevent it.
If he aligns with them, that is when I disembark the train.
Paris is a good deal younger and didn't act like that!
Ugh! I'd wind up slapping her or something before it was over.
She's 22, and the Valley Girl fad when out years ago. She has zero excuses.

one of his family members was approached by an SPer in the audience & asked if there was anything between K&T and he said, just the opposite, none of us can stand her
2.
right after they performed on Tuesday, I was at the bar in the restaurant at the Kodak Theater and sitting next was a lady who said she was waiting for her best friend, one of the producers at AI to meet her. She and I and the bartender got to talking about behind the scenes gossip and she said that all the backstage people and producers and directors said K was a royal biotch. The bartender said that is what he hears constantly when the crew comes to the restaurant.
3.
When Paris was voted off, she was asked what she appreciated about various other contestants, and when they asked her what she learned from K, she paused and said, the value of being alone.
4.
when either one was singing on Tuesday, of course everyone was polite in the audience and at least clapped. Ts family was all class (of course) and when the audience clapped for K, so did they, and when the audience stood up for K, so did they
. the K family did not clap or stand up when T was performing.. they just sat there until the end when they clapped twice and put their hands back in their laps
You have to understand that the ENTIRE theater could see the families, they were absolutely central to everyones sight lines.
By the way, one of the sites I was reading at mentioned that Elliott was the only one to not appear on the ET interview. There was no mention of him either. Do you know anything about why he didn't appear?
I don't know that he would campaign for anyone since he stated that he didn't want to be political.... Also he and his father have talked on several radio programs in this area about how much they love and respect American values and that we should daily thank the military because they were the ones to give us those freedoms. I really believe Taylor was talking about Clinton the politician. Every time I have heard him, he has talked about morals, family and conservative things. He even said he had to exhibit "Soul Control" with Toni Braxton because it was a family show. So, for now I give him the benefit of the doubt. As long as he shuts up and sings, he's alright by me.
Did she color her hair?
It wouldn't be outright "campaigning."
Maybe a well publicized jam session or 2 with Bill and the old sax.
Maybe more SNL skits and Leno jokes, comparing the two.
Subtle stuff to soften the masses.
"Levon" is a popular 1971 song, recorded by Elton John with music written by him and lyrics written by Bernie Taupin. It was from John's album Madman Across The Water.
As usual with Taupin, the lyrics are a complex riddle, involving Jesus, Venus, Christmas, The New York Times, Friedrich Nietzsche's joke "God is dead", and the apocryphal Alvin Tostig. The titular character's name derives from The Band drummer Levon Helm. The track's power derives from John's solid vocals and his piano-based melody married to Paul Buckmaster's dynamic string arrangement.
The song describes a family living with mental illness. The first line is the first clue to Taupin's riddle. "Levon wears his war wound like a crown" refers to being used as a "pawn" in warfare, and receiving a head injury. His son, irreverently named "Jesus", is growing apart from his father, who seems to fixate on religious and status symbols. The song's refrain, "He shall be Levon" contains a subtle pun which John's phrasing alternately obscures and punctuates: "He shall believe on".
"Levon" has since been covered by several artists, including Bon Jovi and Billy Klippert. It was also taken on by Taylor Hicks in the first week of the semifinal of the fifth season of American Idol, one of the most praised performances of that season. Hicks sang it again on the final day of the competition.
