Yep, still hanging around, enjoying life most of the time and travelling in "the realms of gold...." instead of my SUV.
I made a typo, LOL. It was a mystery cross stitch sampler. It is on lambswool linen and stitched with hand dyed silk thread. It cost me a pretty penny. the stitching group I belong to chose this sampler, it will take 14 months (!) to completed. I worked on it for three months. It is pretty interesting, there are seven bands to the sampler. We get the instructions for each 'band' to be stitched every other month. I had just started the second band, so it is OK. I had to repurchase the fabric and I may have to buy some more thread. Live and learn.
With each ziploc bag of instructions comes another piece of the mystery. Tudor Rose is about Elizabeth I and her lover Robin Dudley. In May we are getting the third round of instructions. It is very fun.
