1033 was not a complaint, it was a question.

I was trying to ascertain what COEXERJ145 meant by "speculation" given his prior knowledge of the show. I didn't complain about his speculation, nor did I complain about his comment on Tuesday.

As to "short" vs "long" complaints, I guess that's a matter of opinion. I was comparing my single 3-paragraph (short paragraphs) complaint to some who come here and complain at length, with pictures, on multiple posts over a short period of time, leaving literally hundreds of lines having nothing to do with the thread.

What is considered a "spoiler" is also apparently subject to interpretation. COEXERJ145 has made posts that provided information based on future knowledge that limited the range of speculation as to what might be coming next -- and that is what I consider a spoiler.

As to whether people should post spoilers, I am just asking that during the 1-hour period when we are watching the show live, COEXERJ145 refrain from posting about what is about to happen, or about how important what we just saw WAS, without putting it in the blank-background format.

Or else, wait until after the 1-hour show, and simply post a "spoiler" warning on the first line of those posts.

The issue is a disagreement over what is a "spoiler" -- COEXERJ145 claims he does not WANT to spoil anything. I take him at his word, and am pointing out that, contrary to his wishes, he IS spoiling something.

He could have ignored my request, and there would not have been a single additional post about it. He chose to respond to my request, with some personal derogatory comments about me. Since then, I have merely defended my position on the facts.

It should be easy enough for anybody to skip my ONE post each week regarding the "10 things wrong" (which btw I stopped doing a few weeks ago having concluded that nobody was interested). COEXERJ145 has literally hundreds of posts in the thread, and it isn't easy to ignore the one or two that are spoilers.

SPOILER WARNING -- SPOILER WARNING -- SPOILER WARNING (a line in this post was previously posted by another poster, but I consider it a spoiler so I wanted to warn people) COEXERJ145, in many posts, has stated he does not want to ruin the show for people, and he doesn't want to post spoilers. I take him at his word -- if I didn't, I wouldn't have bothered to post him.

So, believing him to be a man of his word, and believing myself to be a person, this will be my last post on the subject:

COEX, during the 1-hour show, posted: Actually there are four of them and they're VERY important to the rest of the season.

Knowing these are VERY important is a critical item, one which viewers normally would have to sift out from all other people introduced to the show, which may or may not be important. I assert that knowing these people are VERY important is a SPOILER. This is clear because COEX posted it -- if it was self-evident, he'd have no reason to waste his time.

So I ask this one question: COEXER145: Did you simply SPECULATE that these 4 are VERY important, or is that assessment based on knowledge you have based on spoilers and other future information you have obtained?

If it was simply speculation, I will apologize. If it was based on future knowledge, I implore you to recognise that this was a spoiler, and should have been so labelled.

I'm not sufficiently caffeinated (THEY took it away from me...for my own good...yeah, right!) to get into the 'what is a spoiler' debate, but I always enjoyed your "10 things wrong" posts, CharlesWayneCT, and would welcome seeing them return.

I had enough trust in them to occasionally pass one or two off as my own ideas to '24' friends who aren't on FR. I know...that was wrong and I won't do it again. But, THEY should not have taken my caffeine away. I'm guess I'm in the bitter stage or something. You know, passive aggressive acting out...I want some CAFFEINE!

Give me back my CAFFEINE...PLEASE, FOR PETE'S SAKE, GIVE ME BACK MY CAFFEINE.
