The racial comment is driving ALL of this. When something like that is said in that tone, it is an attack on 30 million people, not just one.
I am inclined to believe that that players did something, although I'm not sure the right ones were picked out. But I will readily admit this is due to my own bias, because I don't know the facts.
I just wish the defence would stop avoiding answering whether or not this was said.
I don't think it much mattered to him.
IMO, they all deserve each other.
>>Special Conditions for Sex Offender<<
Kim is a sex OFFENDER???
Someone with a clue needs to help us!! I can't read this stuff, and husband won't. Says he's read too many of them in the past. He's retired-PITA!!!
Under the sex offender reference there is a "N", does that mean NO? It's there for enhanced firearm charge, also.
Why did this firm distribute that email?
Sex Offender? Where did that come from?????
Gosh, I hate coming in late on a thread!
Looking up NC's statute on Embezzlement (A Class H felony for amounts below $100,000), the maximum prison sentence in the sentencing guidelines for a first time offender is 8 months. The judge is allowed to issue a sentence of community service instead of community at that level. Keep in mind she received a plea deal. Apparently, $100,000 is the magic number for serious jail time.
She received three year probation in 2001. If she is still on probation in 2006, that means this likely not her first violation, and she may receive jail time, although I am not sure how judges handle it in NC.
GREAT question--could the PR firm be looking for PR?
Seems there are several, "failure to appear" also. And one offense has to be something to do with alcohol....with the .16.
Befuddled
Two demerits. No pushing, no shoving! Take a number please!!
;))
On post #89....somewhere it says 36 months. Is that for the embezzlement?
I don't know, I would think this would be bad PR for a PR firm.
There was a guy on DaySide that I got the impression he was from the PR firm (didn't catch his name or anything for sure), but he was saying it was perfectly understandable that Kim got a PR firm to handle her because when people are sick, they get a doctor; when they're in trouble, they get a lawyer.....He was asked about WHO sent the email and he said he wouldn't answer that because he did not want to get a supoena from NC....so he must know or have some connection to it.
If you're looking for a crisis management firm and they distribute your email to the press, how much confidence will the next customer have in them????
Plus--How DUMB would she have to be to send an email instead of calling them?
Based on what we know, there is NO eveidence a rape took place. NONE. Not physical, not circumstantial, NOTHING. In fact, it looks like evidence of a setup or conspiracy, or at the very least a malicious prosecution, is starting to emerge.
And that's an attack on 250 million American citizens.
I found it at the famous post #89.
Ya think? Send them something in confidence and the use it as a press release and go on Dayside?
I feel like we're in a parallel universe. Is this REALLY what the real world is like? Am I that sequestered?
Maybe the firm is like Sharpton---they know she's a no-win case too and want to let authorities know?
