Perhaps she can pray to Mary for something... My aunt now knows that Mary does not and can not answer prayers.

Nice thing to say.
You must be a lot of fun at parties.

I'm sure your opinion of the matter would be very important to the family just now. I have no doubt that you'll share it.

I loved her and I believe she was a Christian. But the Bible does not say that Mary had any power to answer prayers. No sense in lying about it.

I have already shared it and witnessed to my family.
My aunt and I had many conversations about it, as I remained close to her. She was my grandfathers baby sister, and we doted on each other.

Just doesn't seem like a normal thing to say when a loved ones dies.

Your friend Raimus made that comment to me after he scoured some of my other postings.
Blame him. You pinged him here.

First of all, I didn't ping him here. Check the thread.
Secondly, we've all read your post history and come up with the same conclusion.

Typical.
You make a statement, but won't make the least amount of effort to back it up.

I'm busy. I'm a writer for a PR firm who works from home. I have a toddler and a 15 year old. My grandfather died last week and I was out of town for that funeral. Then my son got sick, then my aunt died, which was not unexpected, but it's not like I live on FR. I have other things to do.
I have a life. I suggest that you too find one. It's rewarding.

Maybe we should go do something fun. I hear there's a sale down at the all-night drive-thru dentist...

Busy? But not too busy to make up crap to stick in a headline, right?
Not too busy to attack other folks' religions, right?
I call you "troll".

I get it now... Mexicans are overwhelmingly Catholic!
It's all falling into place now.
I've had about all the fun I can tolerate here. Maybe you'll get better at disguising your agenda as time goes on. I look forward to those times. Perhaps some actually useful discussion will come of it.
Be well.

Not too busy to attack other folks' religions, right? News flash for you, on the religion forum we discuss religion.
It doesn't have to meet your approval.
