Tracey has already given him a barn name - Big Red. Farah had a rough time and it took about 40 minutes feeding her electrolytes, bran mash with molasses and water, and rubbing down her legs before she could stand. I swear her blood sugar dives and I wish the heck a vet could see it.
Oh, she's a first place as far as I'm concerned. What a doll :)
OH GORGEOUS!
Gold Standard is a great name :~D What a beautiful colt. Terrific color.
Glad you were there for Farah and I assume she's up and OK now then?
Yep, she's back to her old self again - ready to kick another colt into shape. Her babies learn manners from day one :)
And in the middle of the afternoon. Who knew?
Only one of her four babies for use have been at night and that was just late evening I think. The other three have all been mid afternoon - I think she does try hard to make sure we are there.
The time on my camera is standard time, not daylight savings. I'm doing good to take pictures, I don't mess with anything else :)
You are 53? I thought we were the same age. I've decided to look at the aches and pains as a blessing. It really makes me appreciate the days I don't!
1st place, for cuteness alone:')
He looks like Lacy:')
It's cool and fall like outside. Not normal.
I'm going to by a camcorder. Is there a special kind to buy that I can post here with?
One that makes digital images you can load to your computer... the videos we've been posting are not done with 'camcorders' but rather, with regular digital cameras with a movie setting. Most even medium range digital cameras can do that.
I used to have one of those but I gave it away. I need a camcorder to record my Grandkids events.
If you want to record a couple minutes at a time and share them easily, a digital camera would be better... you could email or upload those...
Camcorders to tape a whole event or something, there you're probably still talking about a VCR tape. And to convert that to digital takes special equipment.
Do you download thru snap fish. like the pics?
They have some digital camcorders but they are pricy.
You can use snapfish, and it worked about the same when I tried it, uploading them to snapfish was easy. The links here didn't last all that long, they do that to save their own bandwidth I guess. But you can share the album with family and they can see it whenever they want.
We have other webspace that we use to upload movies to.
Right. You'd have to be pretty serious about it. :~D And not everyone can open and download a 300 MB file.
Makes my head hurt:')
