The main local place I showed at was indoor, but it was bad enough just trying to get them from the stall to the arena when it was nasty out. I couldn't keep my show clothes clean to save my life on a good day.
He's gonna think you got a thing for him as much as you're going here lately! ;o) Good luck!
Heck, Whitey manages to rub and snarf on me enough tht I can't stay clean.
Heh, I swear I think they do it on purpose..."Hey, let's go get a mouth full of dirt then go wipe our lips on her and watch her scream, that'll be fun!"
It was pretty dark and nasty here during the morning rush hour drive this morning. I think we got what went through TX and OK last night! Luckily it was this morning instead of this afternoon or we would have had to deal with tornados to after it hit 80 degrees. Hope everyone is OK to. These bad weather days still scare this native Southern California transplant.
Fine here, slept right thru it, till 8:00 this morning:) What is it about rain that keeps you sleeping:)
Thanks for the concern. Hoping everyone else is fine too.
Becky
Well get ready, coz that's exactly what it's gonna do this afternoon.
Dirt? Mine wipe chewed up grass and slobber on me!
Yeah, there's always that, 'specially if you've got on a nice clean white shirt.

I think it looks like some bad storms are indeed comin' to Alabama.... Batten down your hatches!
Oh Lovely! They're closer than I thought. The first one that's over Memphis will probably be here around lunch time.
Great! Just in time for my visit to the chiropractor! Though it looks like it may stay up on Northern Alabama where you are Frog.
You obviously haven't seen THIS then...
Birmingham is right in the line of fire too coz the whole thing is moving slightly to the SW.
I've never gone there trail riding but would like to. I live about 30 mi. east of Pgh, but will be closer to you this weekend if you are in Northern OH. Show is very near New Castle, and since we're there I can guarantee rain!
Thanks! The storms have been lined up, one right after another. One more to go this afternoon and hopefully we will get a break.
Well I made it back before the poop hit the fan! Lots of wind, lightening and thunder right now but no rain yet. Hope it will be gone before 5:00
I am about 12 miles due south of Anna so no problem here at my place. BUT ... my kids, ex, and grandbaby live in Trenton. I called my youngest son, Adam (the Collin Co. jailer), last night just as the first touchdown happened in Anna. He was monitoring the situation via their police radios as several deputies were in the area as storm watchers. The projected path was Anna, Westminster, then Trenton. So, my ex loaded up my daughter-in-law and the baby and left heading due east away from the storm. They live in a double-wide which we all know has "tornado target" written all over it. My other son was at work in McKinney.
Fortunately the storm took a more northerly path and Pilot Grove in SE Grayson Co. was hit instead of Trenton in SW Fannin Co. They live just over the Fannin Co. line about 3 miles NE of where HWY 160 and 121 intersect. Adam left work and went home to check on the property (and horses) once the storm passed through. No damage and all the horses were fine.
I was very worried about them but at least had great inside information through Adam on what was happening "on the ground" as the storm passed through. I feel very sorry for the folks in Pilot Grove but am very glad that the tornado did not hit Trenton. A 14 year old was killed in Pilot Grove, and an elderly couple were found dead in their destroyed home in Westminster.
This one was just a bit TOO close for comfort.
