Jake, you ok????
There were two tornadoes that went through Shakenjake's area last night. 3 people killed, several injured.
Becky, you get through the night ok?
Egad. Is everyone ok?
Haven't heard from shakenjake, yet. They are showing the tornado path on the news this morning, the houses hit are GONE. It was a bad one.
It got pretty hairy around here yesterday evening too. Quite a few trees down in the area, but none at my house thank goodness. Had another nasty little storm this morning too. It's supposed to be like this off and on all day. Looks like the next wave is in Arkansas right now and another one back out around OK City. A Nasty day on tap for sure. I sure hope ShakeNJake is ok.
I hope everyone is safe out there. Beautiful Ohio, sunny, temps in 70's. It has been very dry this spring also. We are suppose to get some thunderstorms this evening or tomorrow.
Can you HAVE a basement when you live at sea level?
I was a little concerned about you . That line got awful close to your County. I didn't know she was further north.
Good morning! Waiting this morning for everyone from Tornado Alley to check in.
Yup, Collin County is the next one over from mine. But if I'm not mistaken, Jake lives in Collin County.
Didn't even get a drop of rain here.
Not the kind of basement you are thinking of. I meant a shelter that you don't have to go outside to.
I hear that's how it goes... feast or famine.
Talk to yall later. I'm headed to the dentist.
Western PA is beautiful and sunny. Looks like we won't have to worry about the drought conditions for a bit. Rain starts tonite and according to weather.com, never ends.
Should be a fun outdoor show this weekend....ugh!
Hope everyone is safe. Didn't read last nite's messages before posting. Sounds like terrifying storms.
Heh - oh dear. All your beautiful show clothes... what do you do? forego style and wear a raincoat?
Good Morning
It's rainy and cold here, and it's supposed to rain for the rest of this week and well into next. Ugh. There goes all my riding time.
If it's bad enough they relax show attire. I'll find a warm sweater or jacket and wear brown jeans. If weather is just iffy will wear clear rain gear over my show clothes.
