Hey Y'all! I want to introduce y'all to a friend of mine who's decided to join the FR Saddle Club. She's the one who bought Blade from me and she goes by BladeRider. Here's a pic of her and Blade on their first checkout ride...

And here's a pic of her and her huband riding two of their other horses, Queen and Jake. Queen is my horse Truly's mom.

I've had her lurking on here from time to time to look at pics and stuff and she finally decided that we might be an ok bunch to hang out with.

Emergency gadget alert!
When you least expect it, Victorinox, the Swiss Army people, announce the "s.beat"

It has a 1GB USB drive with MP3 player, FM radio, recording capability, and seven equalizer modes. PLUS a tiny remote.

The player works with everything buttoned up. MRSP $260, street price about $200.
Don't go trail riding without one.

Whoa. I went to an Austin Chapter event awhile back. One of the members had a palm computer and was giving a freeper report by satellite in the restaurant. I thought that was so cool at the time but lately I'm thinking it should be tack , that no cowgirl should be without:')
To: HairOfTheDog
Thanks! Glad to finally be able to join in the conversations instead of just lurking. Frog and I go a long way back and have enjoyed many a trail ride together.

We just need dual ear pieces. Sarah Lee actually seems to like country and western. My gelding is more of a Tejano fan.
To: BladeRider
Welcome to FR from me too.
Say, haven't I met you before?
To: BladeRider
Well, we're glad to have you. How are you and Blade doing? He's been a Saddle Club member for a long time, even if it took you a while to sign up :~D
To: BladeRider; HairOfTheDog
We were trying to get together this weekend, but she's been having trouble getting her farrier to acknowledge her existence so we'll have to wait another weekend. Bummer!
She's gonna have the NB shoes put on Blade and Jake too, IF she can get the guy to call her back. Otherwise she's gonna trailer them to another guy who does it but travels a lot.

If she finds a secret to getting a farrier to call her back, she better share it :~D
To: Inge_CAV; BladeRider
Hey Cav! I don't remember if you two have met or not. If you have, it was probably a long time ago, since you haven't been riding with us in a while. You may be thinking about the time you met my sister and her husband. Boy, that WAS a long time ago. She doesn't ride anymore either, since she had that car wreck. But one of these days we're gonna get you both back in the saddle again!

Didn't you buy Queen a long time ago then sell her back to the same person? My memory is kinda foggy...........
To: Inge_CAV; BladeRider
Yeah, BladeRider's the one I bought Queen from and sold her back to. But she bought her from my sister before that. {try to keep that straight in your head!} I tried to raise another colt out of her but it never would take. Queen was about 18 then so she was kinda old for it, but she's like 25 or something now. She's still got plenty of get-up-and-go for an old gal though.

Ok, I have met her before coz I rode with you to pick up Queen when you bought her.
To: Inge_CAV; Bladerunner
Oh YEAH!!! I'd forgot about that. She's moved since then and got a better husband too. ;o)
