Thank you, thank you... I'll be here all week. :~D
A particularly devious decoy ;~D
ROTFLMAO!!!!
VERY well done! The suspense was killing me. The extra link to see the contents was really good too. Geraldo would be proud of you! ;o)
Why anybody would go to the trouble of taping up a garbage can full of garbage and chucking it out in the woods is beyond me. Why not just sit it out on the road for pickup? Bizarre!
I thought y'all deserved more than just "Opened it... It's just garbage"...
What a nice little sitting area. I'd love to have some place like that where you could go back and sit and read a book or something and still be outside.
Yeah, that woulda been kinda anticlimactic. And Geraldo's always got another "Secrets Of..." in the works when he finishes one too, so the "Mystery of the Second Trashcan" was another good teaser. LOL!
I kept it up and mowed it too, in the spring... Because it was a pretty place. Of course, now that place is part of the back forty that the horses are in, and we had it brush hogged, so it doesn't have the same pristine and secluded feel it did.
But it was interesting that they made that clearing, and apparently went out there to sit around a fire once in awhile. We thought it was curious, and named the place the witch's circle.
I'm a lurker on this thread but I just had to post. Helped an old friend buy a trail horse last nite. Foundation bred quarter horse. His sire is Sunny K Sootzz and is local to our area. Started to do a little research.
Turns out this guy is advertised on DU!! The owners are very active politically and apparently they have horsey threads over there. Just about laughed my hiney off. Can't find folks more opposite of the DUmmies than my friend and I.
Oh well, his new purchase is a lovely bay roan foundation gelding that's going to make a whopper of a trail horse. Can't hold his sire's owner's predilictions against him!
Huh - post a link to DU horsey threads... I had no idea... never seen one there.
Congrats on the new trail horse... Your friend would be welcome to join the thread if he's interested!
...and of course, you'd also be welcome to post anytime :~D
Hey, welcome to the thread. We'd love to see pictures of him if you ever happen to get any. He sounds really great. I have a weakness for roans and have quite a few myself. Check out my profile page for pictures.
I found this on Google and then clicked on the link. Was afraid to read too much myself. Don't like it over there!

Thanks. I need to be more active on this thread. His roan's pics are a little rough right now. He decided to eat his hay out of the cow feeder over the winter and did a real number on his mane.
I'm kind of excited. Mom and I have 4 arabian geldings together. This guy is foundation QH and I'm in love with him. I suspect my friend will have a great time with this horse.
Your horses are beautiful! I've got to figure out how to post pics of mine.
Heh... Well, I've been known to go over there... I love a good spectacle.
He is a nice stallion, I like that he has nice big feet. Has kindof an odd look in his eyes. That's probably the owner's politics talking ;~D.
He's good lookin'! Nice strong build. Looks like a very sturdy trail horse.
I'd find out if he's got some kind of critter causing him to rub his mane out.
And he IS a pretty roan color.
It was the cow feeder. Apparently he decided dining with the cows was the thing to do last winter. Might just be a candiate for roaching and letting it grow back evenly.
Yeah - I'd probably roach it and let it grow back even too.
