We really appreciate the help :~D We are always getting ~some~ new requests for knives, but lately we've just been swamped with requests. We have quite a list waiting.

I like those holsters too... really thinking about one for myself.

Bob would love one of those weed trimmers. What is the brand name and would someplace like Lowes carry it?

Regarding key chain items - do you have the key chain pepper sprays?

The little paint filly is "Mina". I got the name from "Dracula". I like getting names from books and movies, Juma is from "Out of Africa."

Aren't they funny when it comes to fly spray? I let my horses get away with lots of stuff but there are a few things they have to do without giving me a hard time: accepting fly spray, standing tied without pulling back and getting in the trailer.

I got this one at Sears, it's a Craftsman.

I looked all over for one that might be a less expensive, but other then commercial ones, that were higher this is the only one I could find. But really for the price as well as they work, at least my last one did, they're worth every penny, IMO, especially in my circumstances with all the rocks.

I did find a very small one at WalMart, but it was a 2 cycle engine and 2 cycle engines and I don't get along:), they either smoke incessantly or lock up, I can't get the mix right.

Yeah. Sometimes they just beg for a thumb in the rib or a pop on the belly though, huh? Mine are actually really good. He just gets all bugged eyed. If I start in the middle at his chest, both sides of the brain tend to get together. Thinking about it I have , a few, other things that I insist on for my 2 though. You don't walk ahead of me, you keep on your side (I do the petting) and if you try to get away when I'm cleaning your foot, Ill help you kick yourself in the butt, and you will turn with me and stand facing the gate until I'm out.

Good Morning!

Tuffy, that is so exciting, that your horse is sound enough to get to ride him. The filly is growing up nicely.

Duchess, I have a Troy-Bilt (wanted American made) weeder and just love the thing. I bought it at Lowe's.

Becky, looks like that weeder works good. I used to go thru so many strings going along the fence line.

Frog, Congrats on the new baby!

Hey, does that mean you're going to ride this weekend.

Julia is coming this afternoon. She's going to get a surprise:), We're riding alot longer then the 1 hour she is use too:)

We have an 80% chance of rain Sat, morning here, so Celia may not get to come ride this weekend.

When I had the old one I bought one of those big spools of line, thinking I would need it. I went thru tons of the stuff with the little hand held ones. Even cutting the big stuff I have to cut around here, I didn't make a dent in that spool. Surprisingly, this big one uses very little.

You almost need a hand held one too tho. There are some places with the big one you can't get, but not many.

A troy built one???? Wow, I looked this year all over the internet and called the local Lowes, and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. Isn't Briggs-Stranton American made? I thought it was. Mack had a Briggs on his sealcoat machine and it burned up fast, he replaced it with a Honda.

Ya - I hope you get your rain... I hope we don't get ours, we're good. Wish I could spread ours out, save one rainy day for August.

Well, I'm trying to convince myself I really really want the rain,,,,I want to ride too:), but that's selfish, we really need the rain, but I really need to get this horse in good shape:). I filled out my entry form for the ride at the end of May. I'll send it next week after payday:)

I think Harley will be fine, I'm just get rather obsessed with worrying about conditioning.

He's totaling my bill right now. I'm going to get the knife and holster. I don't know if I can wear it riding but I can use it for something else. I'll tack on a donation. Been meaning to anyway.

While we're talking knives and holsters, is anybody else interested in the Victorinox equestrian knife? I'll piggyback this on my next purchase from some dealer. That way, the dollar amount goes up, the postage costs stay the same, and there's a better chance of getting more freebies.
