That pony is like a hoofed rocket.
I really like that second to last picture of the Pony:). she looks so ornery.
I like the way Bay looks like he's watching her in the last one:).
Very good pictures.
Becky
Well he could work on things like loping circles in the correct leads. You could set up barrels and/or poles just for the fun of it.
But breaking branches is good for a trail horse:)
Becky
What kind of trees are those in the background?? Are there white blossoms on them or is it just the way the leaves look?
Becky
Those are apple trees... just coming into bloom this week :~D
Where this house is it's just off the regular gravel road and faces nothing more then a little dirt track that is no wider then for one car. I'm sure there are easements there but it's never been development. So like I said it's hard for me to want to punish them to severely, it's like we are riding on these peoples driveway. Which we aren't, but it seems that way. Hard to explain
Becky
They really look beautiful. What kind of apples? Can you get some?
Becky
I don't know what kind those are, they're really old trees. I probably could get some if I wanted, there's more than the neighbor needs. Only thing is we have two smaller apple trees that are usually loaded and ripe at the same time, so it's feast or famine :~D
The neighbor over there asked once if he could feed some to the horses, I said, OK, but just one each per day... they come running to him when he stands at the fence during apple time :~D
Wonderful pictures, Pony is a trip :)
I think you are probably a very wise woman.
How about taking dog treats with you then, and tossing them a couple of milk bones as you pass. Heelers are the smartest dogs I've ever run into, maybe they will accept payment for trespass.
You see how stressed out they are, worring about this stuff? Heck. It's like going to Disney Land for me. I can hardly wait and will figure out how to pay for it as I go along.
I think you'll make it just fine. I've spent a good part of my life that way and so far God's not let me down. Not rich but also not hungry, at least not for long :)
I think so to and I'm not really retiring, just restructuring.
I used to do that when I rode my bike. There was this dog that always bothered me. Everytime I passed if I threw him a biscuit he left me alone:')
Hair, glad you guys got to ride. Looks like a very nice day.
Our pony is always a crowd pleaser :~D
Good morning everyone :~D
LOL!!! Boy, I wish you'd gotten a picture too, but I understand why you couldn't. Turning around with a big trailer is something I avoid if at all possible. Hopefully you'll see him again sometime. One thing's for sure, the guy wouldn't have to worry about sliding off going down hill! That big ol' hump would be like a pillow, he could just lay his head on it and go to sleep. ;o)
That's awful about your jaw! Wal-mart is great for some things, but personal service ain't exactly their strong suit I don't guess. I've considered taking all my prescriptions to a small independent pharmacy myself. My mother uses one and the guy is real good to her. She see's several doctors and he makes sure that they don't give her medications that could react with something else she's taking, and makes sure she knows how to take them and stuff like that. It'd be nice to have somebody that you could call after hours in an emergency too.
