He had an oak dining chest too. I offered him 50 but he wanted 75. He knows where I live (a neighbor) if it doesn't sell. Duchess this may set me back another week or two. I didn't touch the mad money though:')
Interesting. I will have to figure out the same thing.
I don't know how many miles I ride, but I can tell you that the ferrier came over last weekend and could not even trim my horses.
He said, "I have never seen one person wear the hoofs off of THREE horses in the winter." (Most of us in Michigan take shoes off in the winter)
Heh... sorry... she looks even more dead in this one, with her teeth showin'...
She's just pining for the fjords... :~D
Oh my gosh, she does! I would have freaked if I saw one of mine down like that.
I'm wondering if I missed it somewhere, what breed do you ride?
We sure like pictures here:)

LOL, so comfortable:)

I like that table. How are you going to refinish it?
Well, I wouldn't have been able to resist it either. I'm the queen of the thrift shops here. My kitchen is covered in copper on every spare inch. I always find something I can't live without.
LOL! She looks like an ex-horse in that pic! :-D When she sleeps, she really sleeps!
All that's missin' are the flies and the scavengers...
No, she just feels really, really safe at your house :)
I have an arab and two TBs. (Plus a Shetland Pony my daughter rides)
I also ride my neighbor's horses when they let me.
I'm going to strip it down and then varnish it maybe in a light cedar. I don't want it too dark though because the tiles are reddish/brown and we are going to paint the walls a light mellon color. I've never tried wood burning so I'm thinking about a stencil I can remove if I don't like of maybe a horses head on the drop leaf. I was looking at those silly legs. What do you think about "hoofs" ? (grin)
Bob just told me one of our goats died this afternoon. This has been a *itch of a month so far, one of the lovebirds died, then my cat, and now a goat. I rather hope this is the last of the trend. He said when he told me that things come in threes. :(
SOrry! It has been a bad month. - what killed the goat?
Well, I never made it out to the stables. I ride tomorrow so I'm ok though. I called my instructor because I wanted to ask her about a problem and she told me she got thrown from one of her horses and banged her ribs up. What's with ribs lately? I feel like I need to buy me a vest:') So far , I have been partial to hips though!
I have a Palomino/Quarter, Harley, and I hope to do competitive trail riding on him. I got to compete on him one time last year, and he will be very good at it once I get the saddle problems fixed.

We don't have a clue - it doesn't have any marks or injuries and there is no sign of bloat. And the other goat and the llama seem just fine.
