We are still getting drizzle here, and I'm not complaining about that at all, but it has really gotten cold:(. I hate the cold. Makes me stiff and cranky:)
Becky
Yeah - the trees are budding out and comin' alive!
fingers crossed :')
Yesterday was so nice. All the plants and spring stuff are out. I'm going to plant my peach tree today, after I get out of here, go see my horses, and get groceries. All before 6 for church. :')
Still, the horses all have had a nice nap ~on~ their breakfast, till I interrupted...
Cyn has apparently just died... which is a shame... ;~D
Oh - Good, I guess she's not really dead ;~D
The others have gotten up, but Cyn just really didn't want to.
Things are really looking green around there.
I think our weather is suppose to stay rainy/cold till Wed/Thurs. then warm up. With the rain, things should grow like crazy once the sun comes out. I need to get that weed eater this week..
Becky
LOL. Before I read your caption about Cyn that's the first thing that I thought. Heh. I especially like the look on her face on the closeup. Can they be seen from the road? The horses here have been down and napping too because it's been so nice out. Every one of them. Rolling and napping. It must be nice to be a horse under the right circumstances.
Thanks:). mine too.
Becky
~shudder~
Ya... the last pic of Cyn, that's the road in the background.
LOL:) You kill me.
Becky
Muddy horses get the hose... :~P
Well, we're out to do stalls... want to get them stripped so they can air a few days. While it's nice here, the horses can stay out.
I really think that's the best way to go, and the horses are by and far much happier. I wouldn't do it though unless my whole property was fenced in. If someone got out, I would have no way of knowing till morning (or have no hope of catching the escapee in the middle of the night)But then again, I'm a tad paranoid. :-)
Becky
haha. I didn't even recognize him! :-)
Work is done and I'm not in the mood to grocery shop so I think I'll go check for swirls since I just spent a 100 dollars on "a piece of junk" and my husband is not in the mood for me to drag the peach tree out. Yall tell me what you think. Pics coming
I didn't know that Rose of Sharon self sow - thanks for the warning. I'll have to keep an eye on them and transplant volunteers if I can.
I have never heard of it, thank God. I hope it no longer takes place. Why on earth would someone do that?
