Well my husband and I have come to an agreement. We are going to stay in our house. We will buy a place in the country not more than 4 hours away and we will take our horses with us on long weekends so I can "be in the country" I'm not crazy about stabling but marriage is just one big compromise sometimes, isn't it?

The guy was obnoxious and rude to you while he was trying to buy one of your horses? And he expected to get where with an attitude like that? People never cease to amaze me. I could rant for hours about obnoxious and rude people, but I'll spare the thread.

I planted a Rose of Sharon
Speaking of which, has anyone seen roseofsharn? I wonder if she and her family have moved to their new farm yet.

You should have told that dimwit that he was gonna get his grandson killed. My little paint filly that I bought last fall has turned out to be a real sweetie but I would NEVER let my kids handle her unsupervised. She's still too babyish and unpredictable to be trusted with children. I let them brush her and pet her under controlled circumstances only.

Go ahead, Beaker, let 'er rip!! LOL, I feel the same way. My husband and I took the kids to 6 Flags Over Texas (amusement park) last weekend and a greasy looking woman yelled at her kid, "get your ass over here!" The kid couldn't have been more than 3 years old. Just breaks my heart.

Well I hate that people feel entitled. That the world owes them everything, and that they're better than you "just because." There are a lot of people like that around where I live, and it drives me up the wall sideways. You can spot them a mile away in the way that they talk and behave. It's a whine with a self rightous air. A "What do you mean you won't give me what I want?!" type of thing.

The scene that you saw at six flags... well that's just lack of class. (Which ticks me off just as much) And by lack of class I don't mean in a "would you like tea with your crumpet" sort of way. I mean lack of simple human decency... which just seems to have gone out the window. Seeing parents parents talk to their children like that breaks my heart too, probably for all of the same reasons.

:) Good morning ladies. Oh I love the graphic.

I haven't seen Rose post in awhile. Last I heard also was that they had bought some property. Hope all is going well with them.

July '07 is when I hope to retire. We'll see I guess. Just depends on how much I can get done between now and then.

Morning :)

Cloudy and overcast here but rather warm. The weather here changes so fast and so often, today might be anything. Is your woodpecker back this morning?

We did get rain thru the night and expecting more all day today:) It's gray and chilly, but I got my fountain outside:) I'm trying to figure out what to do with the orange extension cord. I don't like it going up the wall and into the window...I need to find some way to hide it.

Good Morning>

Becky, that fountain is so cute. Maybe this year, I will get my water garden in. Those dirty big gold fish have got to go out of the tank inside.

A friend came over with his bobcat and move the slag that has been sitting for a year. He dug around the side of the barn, so now I have a manure pile. He will move it this summer when it is dry enough to get back there. We wanted to make our riding area a little bigger. A big plus is, I can now swing my 5th wheel around.

I am going to visit a friend this weekend, so you all have a good one.

Hey, how about that. It looks like Independence day for both of us. Mine was 06 but I've pushed it to 07 but definately no later than 08 :'). My biggest concern though is giving up my insurance. I learned the hard way, that it is important. I can't understand why we can't co-op as individual groups and get better rates though. Anyway July 06 is when I plan to open my business:')
