No I didn't. Flying with the Angles is a cool thing (something I haven't done; closest I have done was fly in and briefly fly a replica of "The Spirit of St. Louis").
While the Trucks don't have a restrictor plate, they do have a spacer that robs about 120 horsepower from the engines.

Wow cool!! That had to be fun.
I used to work in a building next to El Toro when it was still a Marine base. The Blue Angels would put on a show there every year and we would watch the two days of practice in addition to the show right at the fence of the runway. Talk about loud and fast they put Nascar to shame!
