What is wrong with his health?Last summer he was rushed a local hospital in Las Vegas toward the end of the AI tour the top finalists do each year. He had an obstructed intestine and needed emergency surgery to save his life. He had a relapse in December and has been unable to promote his album at all.
Check out the first page of this thread. Jonny did a superb job of summarizing where Carrie, Bo and Kelly are in their careers.

Thanks for the great review, as usual. And thanks for the list of the contenders (so far.) I couldn't remember all of their names.

I did see Bo on the top twenty countdown on CMT recently, so he is finally doing some promotion.

Here's more on Paris:
As we soon learned this Paris was unique. Where Paris Hilton is synthetic and tasteless, seventeen year old Paris Bennett is delightfully original. And, well trained with a family of singers including the Grammy winning, lead vocalist of the Sounds of Blackness.
Paris Bennett opened her audition with some Southern hospitality and then belted out 'Cowboy Take Me Away' and 'Take Five' on the American Idol Audition stage in North Carolina. Simply yummy. A unanimous Yes, Yes, Yes and Paris had her golden ticket to Hollywood.

Paris was versatile. She sang Country and Western and Jazz. "Take Five" was a very difficult song to sing.
Her singing was so extraordinary, even the Judges asked her to honor them with another song. I pray she wins. I might have to vote this year :)

Here's a story of a lovely lady
Who had multiple arrests
And a wig made out of gold
She cursed and stank, called Paula "old"
And refused to wear panties
That's how she became
RHONETTA THE SKANK (((American Idol Ping)))
As always, if you want on or off this ping list, just let me know :)
