Liberalism is a mental disorder. Sounds like he doesn't know he's a lefty, yet. Too bad, so sad...

You almost have to. They get used to having only "fair-weather" friends.

We get some hardy souls who try it.
Slow speeds, a good cap, windows rolled up (to nothing), and the heater going full blast.
Music too, to get attention.
Ahh, the mid-life crisis. I remember it well ... Um, strike that last part.

I hope you "get back" to PST soon. That jet-lag is real bear. An 11-1/2 hour shift is not to be sneezed at. But if it were possible I'd be tempted to stay, since I fly out to the East coast a week from today. OTOH, it's only for two days and there's nothing in the mornings I have to do but get up (I wish more of my trips were like that...).
G I'll be back later this evening to take us to out new home, but gotta go now and head up the road to the church. Evensong at 5, Pancake Supper at 5:30.
It's a terrible tradition. My stomach feels ill already.

That's when middle-age men try to lose their gut, buy wigs, try to be stylish, and sometimes buy a sportscar.
It's all prety foolish, and while I did get that old, I never got that dumb.
Of course, I did turn to writing fiction ...

I guess you've gone to bed by now, but I think the Snow-Orangeman is a great idea! If you have some contruction paper, you can cut a clover out of orange paper. We actually used to do this for St. Patrick's day when I was a kid, in some good old Irish-Protestant churches!

"Yet another illiterate Democrat. " Judging by the style, to use that word loosely--margial literacy and putting way too much effort into keywords-- it's the same one, back for another visit.

"You don't wear a wig?" No. Like the Robert Heinlein alter-ego Jubal Harshaw, "I've come by my decrepitude the hard way ..."
Besides, how will I know when I've reached middle age? I haven't decided how long I'm going to live, yet.

"You don't wear a wig?"
Who needs a wig? I have my hat ...
My Hat
I dont go out without my hat,
When it is cold outside,
Or on those bright and sunny days,
It helps my eyes to hide.
And always when its raining,
I wear it too at night.
Lets face it, when you see me out,
My hat is in plain sight.
My wife complains Im wearing it,
Much too much, she said.
You have to let a little air get to,
The hair thats on your head.
I just respond by pointing out,
My hat will let it grow,
My hair is quite shade tolerant,
Besides, how would she know?
