Evidently so.
I'm still kind of p*ssed-off that whatever numbskull hacked into PW also deleted my account.
I can only assume it's someone that has a grudge against me for some inexplicable reason.
I don't mind being expelled from a forum-God knows, it's happened before-but it kind of ticks me off that some ignorant script kiddie can erase my account from their database without my consent.

I have that novel.
It's one of the few books written by Stephen King that I haven't read yet.
I've heard positive things about it though, even from people who don't generally considered themselves King fans.

I'm trying to decide what to think of it. I'm about half-way through and I guess I have to be a guy to get some of it, but to me, it's a little different than some of his other stuff. I think I've read them all...maybe one or two I haven't read, and that includes all of his non-fiction and stuff done with another author.

Ah...I remember now...my brothers talked about The Shadow, but never "Lamont Cranston." Shame on them.

Right now I'm working my way through the beginning of the last volume of
The Dark Tower.I thought that the Wolves of the Calla was a bit too kitschy, but the series has generally recovered its pace since then.
The Dark Tower is definitely one of his most ambitious works, this side of The Stand.

More like:
You can park in my sunshine as your shadow really doesn't affect me in any way, shape, or form.
Sorry, but this issue really bugs me... That, and I am feeling a bit more surely than usual today.

What I don't understand is why anyone would ever post a sign that says people who are willing to risk their lives to defend strangers are unwelcome here, and P.S. Please don't kill us.
It probably explains why I never see a sign saying, "This is a gun-free household!" at the hardware store. Those signs must just fly off the shelves.

I'm missing "Song of Susannah" from the Dark Tower series, so I can't go any farther, even though I have all the other ones.
One of my very favorite books of his is "Eyes Of The Dragon." And I also have the uncut version of "The Stand." I just finished it a few months ago, right after I read LOTR for the 40th time.

Have a great rest of your day.
Whatever day that may be...
As the late Charles Schultz said, "Never worry about whether the world's going to end today - it's already tomorrow in Australia."
Which reminds me, it's quarter to seven Wednesday morning and I haven't slept a wink yet. Oooops. Night, all.
To: FriendDownUnder
'Night!
