"Flashiness be damned. Brady is brilliant, talented and doesn't get the respect he deserves"

One would think the league would have figured this out by now. Pretty much every legendary quarterback had a decent arm and and an excellent mind. It's the brain that counts.

Drew Bledsoe has a much better arm than Brady, but Brady doesn't throw the ball to the opposing team when he gets rushed. That's the difference.

Nobody ever accused Johnny Unitas, Bart Star, Milt Plum, Sonny Jurgensen, Joe Montana, Carley Connerly or Joe Namath of being great atheletes. They were smart guys who were cool under pressure.

The Pats are still underdogs to Denver or Indy. Their defensive secondary is extremely weak and their opponents know it. When Hank Poteet is your cornerback, you are in rough shape. Who is playing safety anyway?

Hawkins and Eugene Wilson are the safeties and Assante Samuel and Ellis Hobbs are the corners. Their secondary created 2 turnovers last night, one went back for a touchdown which is pretty good production. Losing Rodney Harrison hurt them a great deal. He is a playmaker and not to mention a guy who WRs just fear.

Since 2001 the Patriots are 17-3(Miami got them twice) when facing a team for the second time during a season.

Considering it is 2006, that is a meanless stat.

I don't think so.

I know Brady was POed when Kerry tried to invoke his name during the 04 campaign.

Until I hear him say his political persuasion I'll remain unconvinced.

I'm tired of hearing Tom Brady whining

Nobody whines like the Colts.

"Considering it is 2006, that is a meanless stat." Actually it is still the 2005 season and New England are the two time defending champions. They won't see a tougher defense than Jacksonville from here on out in the AFC.

What? You don't think Denver and Pittsburgh have defenses as good as Jacksonville? Actually, the Colts defense is much better this year than in previous years-which was why they almost went undefeated.

Well, you don't have to worry about them coming up lame in the SB, they already did that today. JEEZ! First time a home team was shut out in the playoffs in 30 years! I told everybody the Panthers were the sleeper in the NFC. They don't get much respect either, same with the Bears and Seahawks.

When you are ahead of other teams you can worry about rushing the passer instead of playing the run. I don't think that they could stop KC and they didn't do a great job against the Bengals.

Well, whatever you say, but I'm still waiting to see Peyton Manning's Sixty Minutes Whine-o-Thon.

Now that next week's scenarios are set, I'm going to go out on a limb & say I don't think The Pats are going to get by the Bustin' Broncos. With the addition of Jake the Snake, they've finally found a replacement for Elway (no, I didn't say they'll ever be able to find someone as GOOD as Elway), and they're a balanced team again. Tough enough for anybody to win there, but...one thing stands out to me...the Colts, Bears, & Seahawks all rested their starters & threw their last games, since they had nothing more to gain. The Broncos were in the same position, but didn't do that. That's pure heart. Not sayin' they'll kick their ass-just think they'll win. We'll see. Denver may turn out to be the surprise in the AFC. Too bad about Palmer, that pretty much sealed the Bengals doom-I think they'd have won if it hadn't been for losing him.

And it's always that lack of respect that winds up beating you.

"If this Giants team makes it to the Super Bowl there going to come up lame just like they did against Baltimore"

Well we all know what happened there now! lol

The Giants are actually a team of midgets, and to think I actually paid almost $400 for the 4 tix we had to the game. What a freaking waste of money :(
