That publication is idiotic. People with a history of substance abuse or psychological problems claiming they "don't remember" sexually abusing a woman or girl? That's the proof they were sleeping? What a society we live in. Thomas Szasz would have a field day. Do you really feel good about yourself for enabling these people?
I was only making the point that this is an actual condition. Im not saying that this was the actual cause of the crime in question.
Thanks for sharing your opinion with the thread. It's refreshing to hear someone pick my post out of several others that disagree as well. I am flattered. I was posting MY opinion to this particular article and I stand by every word. Don't try to act like I don't know what I am talking about. You will notice I said "In this case..... That guy may or may not be an idiot, cant speak to that. But, i assure all of you that this is a very real condition. I am a college educated, successful entrepreneur with absolutely no history of mental illness, violence, sexual predatory experiences, or anything of that nature. However, girls whom I have been in a relationship with have told me that we have sex when i am sleeping. Most of the time I am the one making the first move. I have had to warn friends (of the opposite sex) that sleep in the same bed as me. I told them to bite my finger if i did anything figuring that would surely wake me up. Luckily nothing ever happened.
Refer to post #24 above ok. I am entitled to my opinion same as you and I could care less about your sex life. It is THIS particular case I was REFERRING to and I stand by my opinion. If YOU still cant understand I am referring to THIS article ONLY, its not my problem.
