It's actually the dems behind this one, they were working on a bill to allow for a third term for POTUS. They hope to get Slick Willy another term.
As a bone tossed to repubs, they were going to include a provision that would allow naturalized immigrants to run as well. Thinking repubs want Arnold to run. ...scary...or more frightening, George Soros.

Even if the Amendment passed within the next 3 years (HIGHLY unlikely) it probably would not apply to the current President.

I remember reading about this during the Clinton Administration. I think some in Congress want to open the Presidency to three terms. But it's not likely a winner with voters because most of us our sick of our Presidents after eight years.

yeah friggin right....
That wouldn't come CLOSE to passing the Senate and CONSIDERING how split the states are, it has no chance of getting repealed either.

I find the label Neo-Con very interesting. I do believe there are RINOS, conservatives in name only, but it's just a matter of incorrect belief, not some sort of conspiratorial movement. I really don't believe there is a legion of Neo-Conservatives in the wings waiting to take over conservatism. Also, this is a term the left loves to slap around to make conservatives sound even more dangerous to America.

Or it might have the opposite effect and cause marginal middle ground voters to turn left.
