Nope, we've not spotted any snakes.
Part of our ecology came when we picked up the Castle we had built, and the grounds surrounding it, (forming Lake Fate), and flew it off to Loch Ness, Scotland.
The plesiosaur came to live with us when we were casting about for a proper way to celebrate our first Thankgiving, and we netted it with a Time Machine borrowed for the purpose.
It's all there in the archives.

"I'd 'a BEEN killed him!" Hmm. There's a lot contracted there. Like "Jeetyet?" = "Did you eat yet?" and "Yuntu?" = "Do you want to?"
It seems to mean, "I would have already arrived at the point where homicide had just taken place."
