That's because most American comedies are too slow for people like us.

So is the soon to be renamed cat.
She's 6 months old. The org. takes care of the spaying and required shots.
She looks more Siamesey than does Mollie, and Mollie has a prettier face, but I just fell in love with her. She is queenly, but not in the autocratic imperious way of Spook...at least, not yet.
I'm hoping that she and Mcxlplx will get along.

I rented the Dukes of Hazard movie on the strenght of the involvement of the comedy troupe who did supertroopers.
that is your fault.
actually, it isn't all that bad.
just nowhere near as good as soopertroopers.
"Mother of God."

guard Murphy early on.
after a week or two of naked hostility, they'll get used to one another.

I don't know about you ladies, but this fellow is going to indulge in the luxury of an afternoon post-snack nap.

We're getting another kitten. She's a cross between a domestic short hair and a Siamese. She has the build of a Siamese (without the temperament) and is pitch black in color. She sits with a queenly air.
Is there a Scots-Gaelic word for "queen" and, if so, how does one pronounce it?

I like some comedies. It depends on the kind
of humor in the movie. I also like action, but
tend to avoid the "chick flicks". The cynic within
can't stand them & gags at the thought of them.

"chick-flicks... *shudder* " Yah. Not worth enduring, even for "promised' rewards.

Chick flicks. Are those the films that have studly men and comely women purportedly falling in love over some crisis or other?
Any man who wants to get laid would be better off taking his intended "layer" to an action film. The boost in testosterone levels, in both parties, often leads to the desired "outcome".

Yeah. Men want sex, women want "

Mars, Venus, et cetera. Earth must have been the compromise meeting place.
When we get to Mars, be ready, Ladies.

I just discovered that it is in use elsewhere.
But as far as meaning goes, I don't know yet.
Proving elusive.
Probably pronounced May-gless.
