I'm not a big fan of chicory, but I have been known to drink it. I also don't do Folger's or Maxwell House. I prefer Yuban or MJB (Butternut in the east) dark or European Roast, and I only use canned milk for a creamer. It's quite tasty.

Yeah, my brother & I used to watch Eeek
The cat... that's from one of the episodes.
I don't even drink coffee, I'm a tea drinker. So
I'm safe from the vile mud he makes. I wonder
what would happen if I sold it as a "mud face pack".

you'd be marketing a pretty good artificial tanning compound.

I will have to experiment somewhat then.

the reason I do not do the Yule tree: I despise sweeping up shed needles.
Good to know we'll be celebrating the Christ's Mass in proper style.

Oh, well... I thought maybe it was a side effect
of holding your breath, like blue skin would be.
That description sounds slightly entertaining.

I made a pot of coffee, and a friend of dads who is Columbian backed away from the pot saying something to the effect of there being 'death in the pot' or some such.

well, I have skin with elasticity like that of a hound-dog's, and am fairly limber for a man.
more extreme penetrations of this anomaly result in the phenotype required for contortionism and rhythmic gymnastics.

If I can cut down on the burned taste it gets when using non-blend stuff, that would be great.
I may have to find a different type of coffee maker though, like the old corningware coffee perc.

had a co-worker, ages ago, who snuck a cup from my pot (yeah... MY pot: the office coffee was pathetic).
he puked his toenails up.

Ah, but (I just thought about it) tanning as in
leather or tanning as in people.... I may have
to rethink how I'd market this.

When I make the coffee like that, I toss lots of sugar into it.
It ends up kinda gel like in nature then.

both, actually.
both tea and coffee do contain tannic acid, used in some leather-tanning processes.
however, not enough to leatherize sliving skin
but more than enough acid and pigment to stain it one or more shades of brown.
