I'm back.
I just had to check on a thread I posted today.
They replaced the screen on my lap top last April,
in 57 days.
I use the computer for business, so they 'sold' me another one to use in the meantime, and transfered the hard drive to the loaner.
That helped, but I had to pay interest to M/Card.
I developed the same problem again a few months ago ( a 1 1/2" wide vertical purple line on my screen), and was just living with it, until my power supply plug in thinggie died today.
DH says "Take it in, I'm sure they will just replace the charger for you, on the spot".
"OK, Honey. Sure."
LOL!
They insist on having the whole laptop, and the charger, ......to repair the charger!
Not in loco however.....they must send my computer and charger away.
Meanwhile I've had to purchase a new charger (a story in itself), which will be refunded to me when I return it, and my computer, for repair on Monday.
The manager finally offered to waive the $89.99 charge to transfer my data to the new laptop I'll be purchasing from them on Monday, on a BBCC, with no interest.
It's all so STUUUUUUPID!
