Not my fault, honest!
(How much do they want for any of these places?)
Interesting link. Some of those I am familiar with. Most I was not.
Ping, so you can lurk and laugh.
See you tomorrow.
Okay.. this may be my fault:
Watertown - Thompson Park - Apparent Time vortex/ portal which sends individuals through a lapse of time and or location. www.hauntedny.com has more information on a related case.
Right around the corner from Fort Drum...
Right 'around the corner' from me...
Warwick - Old Demerist Hotel (now an art school and general contracting company) - Now the hotel is surrounded by buildings. But Back in the days of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, Many people were murdered inside the hotel by red coats, murderers, or anyone. The top half of the building is closed. Every now and then people report of seeing blood on the windows and screams late at night from the building.
Warwick - Wickham Rail Road Tracks - A white ball of light, similar to the front of a train engine, has appeared out of nowhere and rides the rails. Many people in the Wickham area have seen this phenomenon. It comes at you so quickly that there is just enough time to jump out of the way. It then disappears quickly as it materialized.
And a Prince Albert...
Wow, that is neat about the vortex/portal thingie!
My neighbor at work has Hannibal Lecter pics up all over, his mask, some other things too.
Keep him well fed...
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaa - now that is creepy about what is around the corner from you! Have you seen that new show The Ghost Whisperer?
Ah... those people are creepy on that show.
Lots of scary reading this morning... ;)
LOL!!!!!! YEAH! It's my favorite time of year again - BOO. Resty posted some good ghost stories too!
I'm finishing up my coffee, then I'm going to try and do a few things I really need to do before tomorrow.
I haven't started my coffee. Managed to get very little done yesterday. I'm burning out.
Yessssssssss...I know. I read them awhile ago. Still have some to read. My daughter, who is living with me right now, insists that there is a ghost in this house, but I know that there isn't. She swears she was here alone a couple years back and heard someone walking all over upstairs. Just her willful imagination..lol.
*Sigh* Not mine. I suppose I will spend most of the little free time I have over the next few months trying to fix up the living room to look nice with the new furniture and finding creating ways to cut the heating costs this winter. I'm embarassed by how little effort I've put into making this place home. But somehow, without the kids around, it's just not the same. And I never have company anymore, so it just doesn't seem worth the effort.
I think this job has zapped my creativity. It used to be nothing to me to pull an all nighter making something, or adding special touches to the house or working on scrapbook pages. Now I get tired just thinking about it. I still haven't done anything about curtains, and I really need to. Curtains make or break the feel of a room. In the old days, I would have invested in a good sewing machine and some fabric and worked non-stop until I was happy with the results. Now, the effort of just ironing and hanging curtains is as much as I care to do, and finding anything I like is easier said than done, and when I do find something, the price is usually horrendous...for even one set, let alone for several.
Yes, I'm grumbling. Fall has that effect on me. Sorry.
I know what you mean. It feels like the harder I work, the less I get done.
