...BUT - the trouble with swimming them in the sound, or in the ocean for that matter is the water remains very cold. 58 degrees year around. It's bone numbing cold and not what I had in mind :~D Well, there's that. LOL! I still think it'd be fun to just ride them along the beach when the tide is out. From your pictures of the area the scenery looks really beautiful.
Changing subjects on ya a little bit...the HH sure has been interesting today. Better'n any movie I've seen in quite a while. I've 'bout run out of popcorn! ;o)

It would be fun to ride them along the beach, either there or at the ocean. I do want to make a trip to the ocean - hopefully this summer.
I just thought it be a kick and a surprise to just show up in front of the beach house unannounced on the horses :~D But it's not as simple as that. I've thought and looked quite a bit at places that are adequate to park the trailer and unload and get them there.

Heck, I'm excited for 'em and I don't even know them. The Cntl A thing was pretty cool too. I didn't know that either. But you can bet I'll never forget it now!

Yeah, I figured that out when I saw Corin's FIRE alert and saw the brackets and figured that there might be something there that I was missing, but it was kinda cumbersome to do that on every like where there were some spaces. When Talon said "doesn't anybody use Cntl A anymore?", well that was like somebody turned the light on in the dark. One of those "Ah Ha!" moments coz it sure wasn't making any sense to me before that.

Yeah - I think Talon tried to be a little too subtle and then ended up having to hit us all over the head :~D

Well since this is being discussed out in the open, did they meet at a moot? How often have they seen each other?
Becky
To: PayNoAttentionManBehindCurtain
They 'met' on the thread first :~D
They met in person the first time last summer at Missouri moot at g'nads. There was talk about them after that moot from those that attended (that was the trip I had to cancel, when we were going to come by OK on the way! :~\) that the two of them had been seen off talking to each other apart from the rest :~D
They went on talking and chatting very much in secret from us all through last fall, I guess... they finally told us that they were officially courting a little before Thanksgiving, and he went to CO to see her over Thanksgiving for 3-4 days.
Then she went hope to PA for the holidays and he came to see her at her folk's place and meet the parents for 3-4 days.
And I guess in a couple weeks they will travel to TX to meet ~his~ parents.

Well, courting from a long distance tends to speed up decisions... otherwise it gets expensive!
For example... ecurbh and I 'courted' on the thread, and in private chats and emails for about three months... then he planned a trip out here for a week. And we knew we had to come to a conclusion that week about what to do next.
As it turned out, we made the decision that he would go home and pack and return ASAP.
We were older and not quite as pure as those two are, so we were content to shack up awhile (over his folks' concerns about that) till the final proposal was made, but it wasn't really very long... from November when he moved in, till December 13, over turkey soup :~D
These two are forced by principles to move a little faster with the officials ;~D

It sounds like things might get interesting next door to you. Maybe both the horse and rider are green?

For a native born Washington horse, she sure has an aversion to mud.

I love those pictures. My horses think if they are in six inches of water we are trying to drown them.
