I don't know if you all would be interested in this, but I think this place is pretty neat. I get a magazine to order stuff from a place called Bits and Pieces. They specialize in puzzles and some very unique gifts. I've ordered stuff from them for the last couple of years, and have been very pleased with the quality. I ordered 2 of the item below for my MIL and stepmother and just got them today, and they are really neat, but I like shiny sparkely stuff:). Just wondered what you all think. I unpacked one and they are really really pretty.

That's neat.
I looked at the site, and their based out of Allston Ma, which is out of Boston. I was just there, actually.

Nother fire pic. It's not surprising that we have fires right now: it hasn't rained in months, it's about 87 degrees and it's very windy.

It's so hot that Trixie went for a swim in the dogs' water pan.

Wow. Be careful. How close are they to you? Can we have some of that heat? It's 30 and windy and with the windchill it feels like it's in the 20s.

But I rode anyway, and I had the best ride ever. :-) I had Daisy, the appy, collected and round and on the bit the entire time. How are Tuffy and your new filly doing?

They are about 30 miles away headed in this direction but I think they are getting them put out. The sky isn't nearly as dark as it was and I can't smell it anymore.

It's supposed to cool off tonight, cold front coming through. I think the high tomorrow is in the 50's. It's been really weird weather.

I'm glad you had a good ride. You're braver than I am, I won't ride in a cold wind. Tuffy is back to normal and doing great, the filly is quiet and non-spooky, except around men. We're working on that. I'm in the middle of trying to get her registered. I have to send the association more pics but we settled on her name. Registered name is Twilight Dream, barn name is Mina.

I've seen those Becky, and they are pretty neat.

ecurbh and I have been out finishing the repair on the fence that got hit, and now we're hungry and gonna go run down to the Farm Boy for a burger! It's a cool place, a place where you can go even if you've been working on fencing, or been riding, or hunting, or been sleepin' in a truck for a week. My kind of place. :~D

We still have our snow, but no new... the sun's out and it's bright out again.

Tuffy, those fires would worry me, I sure hope they are on their way out and you get some rain.

Aww, that is so precious. I'm so glad he came back. I have an identical tabby who did the same thing.

Good Morning.

Quite a bit of snow last night. I will try and get some pictures later, when I decide to get dressed. :)

Wasn't Saturday an absolutely lovely day? I rode both Henkell and Jake, cleaned up the barn, cleaned up the pasture, and stacked a bunch of hay that the feed store delivered.

I worked outside all day long because I knew that a cold front was coming in and Sunday would be at least 40 degrees colder than Saturday. We must have broken the record for high temps yesterday.

Fortunately, we haven't had any grass fires around us but I did hear about the ones out your way. We were all under a red flag alert yesterday.

We're getting quite a bit of snow this morning. And we're supposed to get more on Monday and Tuesday. Good thing that I got my ride in yesterday.

Good Morning!

A couple of pictures of the snow we had last night. Especially for our snow deprived peeps in the warmer States..:') Dummy me, left her truck out last night. It's in now, because it's still snowing.

Jody posing.

The horses look nifty in their blankets! Are you guys getting a big storm now, because I think that we're supposed to get the same one on Monday and Tuesday.
