Some of it might be usuable, I don't know enough about building to know, but it looks pretty destroyed.

I have no clue. Mack is calling them tomorrow. But turning in a claim could raise the rates higher then it would be for us to just replace. The thing about that is getting it done.....

It may or may not raise your rates to make a claim, that's true.

Thanks:). I'm glad too. I heard it go from the house, and thought it was the shop. When I got the door open and saw it was the barn I ran out to see if they were all right while stuff was still blowing. They were way at the back.

Not really. It probably wasn't eveyone's idea of a "barn", but it worked perfect for me and I liked not having to have stalls that you have to lead horses into and out of. I liked my barn. I hate that this happened.
They are just now reporting that a lot of fires have started, and a cold front is moving in (and my horses don't have a barn:(

I have one blanket. I don't think it's going to get "that" cold tonight. It's just they won't be able to get out of the wind.

I think the shed row kind of design has a lot of features... I'd love for mine to be able to come and go from shelter freely, or at least have a larger loafing shed than I have for them. You can rebuild it exactly how it is.
I'm sorry they don't have a place to be out of the weather tonight. I'm just depressed for you at having to deal with all the mess and expense of getting a new one built rather unexpectedly.
