Yes, - I did hear from Ruthy a little bit ago. Sorry I forgot to post it here!
She's fine, and her place came through it OK but it was a pretty wild storm for awhile and her power's out.
That photo is so sad. I hate to see stuff like this happen. But I think the best place for those pitbulls that are really aggressive and messed up is to be put to sleep. I would hate for a home to be found, only to have it kill a child. They can not be trusted, and because these animals have been left in crates and neglected, I would be even more wary. So sad....
Oh Thank the Lord. I am so glad they got through it ok. : )
Great pics! : )
Dog GONE Sharn! What are we gonna DO with you?! You're worse'n any horse I've ever been around as far as hurting yourself goes. As for the torn ligaments, I'd take a broken bone any day over that. A break will heal a heck of a lot faster. You take it easy and make deaconjim wait on you hand and foot, since it was his fault anyways. ;o)
I'm glad to hear about Ruthy! I sure was worried about her this morining when I got up and saw the weather. It sounded like it was going to blow across the state pretty quickly though so that was good I guess.
I second FrogInABlender's words about your ankle. Sorry I am so distracted that I didn't cognitively react to your injury report. :~D
I still have these pulled ligament or tendons on the bottom of my feet from this summer, and I'm just really tired of it. I hope you feel better soon, and take care of it so it heals as quick as possible.
Those were not all pit bulls. Deaconjim had replied on the thread, when it was thought it was only a pit bull rescue. Here is an update to the story
That situation kindof overwhelms me. I wish people weren't so capable of screwing up everything they try to do. Those people probably didn't start out wrong, but they certainly ended up causing the very suffering they were set up to save animals from.
If I were nearby, I'd go get one. There's certainly a lot of very eager faces there who just need rescue.
This one was in bad focus, but she was being so sassy, skipping around the pasture with her tail curled all the way over the top of her back that I thought it was funny...
I'm wondering if its animal hordering as well, looking at the conditions of everything as well.
Oh she's gorgeous!
How old is this dog? Has anyone attempted to housebreak it before? How much handling has he had?
You're right, she does look like a German Shepherd!
The second one is a very cute shot.... It's so frustrating with digitals that you can't control the focus better.
Ruthy has called again, the storm is officially over now. She's been out to survey the neighborhood, lots of trees down, shingles missing, fences down, but not hers. She lost her gate, still doesn't have power, and things are kindof a mess, but not too bad.
She did say she had gotten good video before, during and after the storm and is going to try to figure out how to get it uploaded when she gets power back.
Glad to hear it! I hope she figures out how to upload the video. It'd be cool to see it now that we know everything is ok.
She has space somewhere she thinks she can host it... If not, we can.
I had not been outside this morning when I posted to Tuffy. It's cold here. We are in the 50's but the wind is like ice.
Too bad she can't stay like that. She's beautiful.
Another fall? You need a staff:')
