Germany, here we come!
It was even better to see the majority of the fans rooting for the US.
Nice to have the pressure off, that's for sure.
Now I can plan my vacation next year, can fly to Germany for free, but to score some tix....
I think that's why they played this game in Columbus.
"F$5& YEAH!" While holding up the US Flag.
We Rule.
There's reason for optimism, I think.
Congrats USA!
And you pinged the number one Chelsea fan on FR to your post. Nice touch :)
JJ knows my Chelsea hatred, and we are still friends.
Chelsea fans destroyed my favorite pub in Prague, they savaged it, broke every window, toilets, etc.
Thugs.
"America F--- Yeah!"
Hey after the week we've had we need a chance to stick our chests out again.
Yikes.
I don't care for Chelsea because I don't like Jose Mourinho. You have a real reason :)
Yeah, but its been about 5 years since my last trip to Prague, and the bar closed down anyway.
But in its day, it was the only good sports bar there, right off of Wenceslaus Square, near a metro and they had pool tables. Fun while it lasted.
I'm no fan of Argies or Brazilians, and always cheer for Britian and Ireland.
Que Sera Sera!
Whatever will be will be!
We're goin' to Germany!
Que Sera Sera!
Lets pray for a good group, with lame-o's like Ukraine, Saudia Arabia, and Slovenia.
I remember being the only guy in a crowded pub going for Chelsea in the '94 FA Cup final.
That was a lonely day after a 4-0 thrashing by ManU.
In this time of need, the soccer community in North America has joined together to raise funds for those devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Major League Soccer players, as well as members of the U.S. and Mexican national teams, will contribute signed, game-worn jerseys from matches played on Sept. 3-4 to a live, online auction on MLSnet.com. All proceeds generated from this auction, run in conjunction with MLB Auctions, will go to programs designated to support the victims of Hurricane Katrina. http://www.mlsnet.com/MLS/mls/fans/auctions/2005/hurricane_relief/
There are no lame teams at the World Cup :)
