I'll eat their souls if I can find them, scrawny and shriveled as they are.

Westy, darn, I was hoping to run into you while you were still on the thread sometime to tell you of my adventure with a scooter at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo.
I knew I could not walk very far with my bad back when we went to this huge amusement park. So, I reserved and rented this scooter at the entrance. It was a very modern and nice one. The man taught me how to operate it before I set out with great confidence and anticipation of a good time.
Ha, I got to the first incline and it was okay to climb. This is the Ozarks, after all. But, then I had to descend a steep grade. OMG...the scooter had no brakes and when I let up on the hand accelerator, it took about five feet to stop. It scared me to death, I declare. So, I got off and left it sitting right there and walked up the incline to get my money back on the damn thing.
Okay, are you laughing very loud, Westy?
To: EsmeraldaA
Yes, we were four foot from the poor girl, and even though I could barely move, we helped the poor girl up from the floor.
She was okay, just dazed.

Lovely Darks, I'm off to read in bed now.
Rest well and have wonderful dreams ok?

"The woman always dances backwards except in a twirl." That sounds just plain boring. I like the way I learned better. I kinda remember dancing with a guy once that said he learned to two-step in Cajun country. I remember being glad to get a new partner, although I don't remember much else about it.

"no pics were taken, it was quite a spill over too." But I understand that sis possesses a photo of Darks with a Christmas bow on his butt.

And should she scan it... I'll find some way to torment her.

Willdo.
If you see some short guy in weird archaic clothing in your dreams.. I'll deny it is me.

LOL! I'm getting a mental image of an out of control scooter and you waving your hands wildly and screaming at little kids to get out of the way.

Well, your mental image is exactly what happened. LOL Imagine my chagrin to later see all the REALLY old ladies navigating just fine on the beastly scooters. Oh and my daughter never hesitated to point them out to me, the evil child.

24 inch chrome wheels with dual exhausts, power steering, all wheel drive, and sporting flames painted down the sides.
Doing 0-60 in 4.3 and racing title for title.
*thinks about it*
The scooter would have scared me to death too.
Haven't seen many that were stable on their wheels.

be sure and save the fins for soup.Tell Nully that we'll save the fins and not to worry about putting his nuts in the salad or dessert. ;)
