The dog days of Summer
are finally here,
the dog days of Summer
are a pain in the rear.

Sweating and cursing,
rashes we're nursing,
the heat of Summer
is a bummer . . .LOL!!!

The itchin'
the bitchin'
the down right witchin'
heat will get the sweat
to roll in your eyes
and sting like a bee.

Your a wipin', and gripin'
our of your mind swipin'
the sweat from your brow
and wishin' you was a cow
with your tail a twitchin'


The heat will cease
the cold will crease
your brow and
wrinkle your hands
then in the sand
the seeds settle down
and wait to germinate

Our first Fall show is in two weeks, so the craziness has definitely begun.

Thank you for inviting me to The Lair each day, I love sitting down in the evenings to read what had unfolded during the day, such beautiful things.

Lillte Miss in pure white, with your sonorous flight,
So beguiling to us, cringing here in day’s night,
Is there hope for our souls, that they too may fly?
Though your lilting gives cheer, it does not answer why.

In our village of mean, dingy streets and of dirt,
How did something so pure come alive out of hurt?
With a voice that enthralls, and a delicate hand,
When will you depart with the Lords of the land?

In the meantime, sing on. Lift our hearts with your trill.
Let the tears of our joy down our dusty cheeks spill.

In our village so poor, we have only one joy,

is really the limit
but, her pancakes Lord, are
simply the best . . . I admit it.
