Don't expect anything but envy from over here!
I just called the sherrif's dept. There is a freezer semi trailer rig with a generator that someone has parked here near the gate. He's probably set to be there all dang night, took the truck home somewhere.
They probably won't do anything, but I'd like to at least complain, I'd like a notice put on the rig when the guy comes back "HEY! DON'T LEAVE YOUR LOUD DAMN GENERATOR IN FRONT OF PEOPLE'S HOUSES! THERE'S A DAMN TRUCK STOP A MILE UP THE ROAD!"
What an inconsiderate pud. :-P
You think he didn't realize there was a house back there?
He probably didn't.... But I think it's the same guy who often leaves his trailer here.... probably lives nearby and can't park the whole rig there, so he leaves his trailer here overnight.
If it's the same guy that always does it, I don't want him to do it again.
Or he didn't care. It's ~really~ loud too. In a few more hours, I'll be ready to head out there with some tools and start unplugging hoses and flipping switches.
Just heard on the scanner that they're on their way.
Nicely put. Inelegant perhaps, but effective... :-)
I'm guessing most folk don't think there's house back behind there... especially if they drop the trailer there at night.
Well, here's hoping they can turn that thing off or contact the guy and get him to move it.
But it's still light.
But you're right.... it's not real obvious there's a house here. I had them backed into the driveway a couple times and they still didn't see me back here.
I just wonder if they can even track a trailer to the truck. Independent truck drivers... trailer owned by who knows who somewhere in Detroit.
Oh I dunno Ruthy...If'n I had muh choice of shovelin' horse poo in 70 degree weather or waterin' muh garden in 90 degree weather, I'm purty sure I know whut I'd pick.
It doesn't get that cool here even at night.
It *almost* rained today though... last time it rained was June 1.
I'll ping you to the beacon as soon as I can find it!
Has it got a "1-800-how's my driving" sticker on it?
That's what I'm guessing, but I hope there's some way to end the noise .
I was driven insane by the hour-long leaf blowing session outside the window at work today.
Why can't they have the landscaping done on the weekend?
Deputy's here... Hair's out talking to him.
Point taken.
But cooler temps would be most appreciated!
They're short-lived around here. It seems that "winter" gets shorter down south and longer up north.
Stop hogging up the 60s, man! ;-D
So there's the link between Beacon and Bacon?
If it's a beer trailer, try to make a deal! *laughing*
