Smokeys interest is not just interest, its the full blown act! We were told he was gelded but we may have to check? How? Sugar is in heat and they have been active at least 3 times. We moved them to another pasture and while they were still seperated they were very unhappy. They Love being togethera nd follow each other everywhere. (they now have the run of 4 fields!).

I had finished packing for our two weeks getaway, we leave Firday...........and had time on my hands so thought I would chat on FP last night. I was SO disapointed I couldnt get on!

Blake is coming to spend the day with me today:), we are going to go bike riding again in town on some bike trails. I'll get a few pictures. It's very pretty right on the river.
Tonight the girls are coming to practice barrels in the arena.
I'm going to run up and feed the neighbors horses in a minute. I'll get some pictures. There is something interesting I want to show you all.
It's not suppose to be quite as hot today.

Yup, yesterday was a sad day, no FR saddle club!
Mandy and I took Winnie and Tuffy for a ride here yesterday and they were awful. Seemed like all the neighbors horses were acting weird as well, running and acting silly. Winnie kept shaking her head like something was bothering her so we took her back to the barn and untacked her, looking for stickers and whatnot. I think I found the problem, she has a sore spot in her mouth. Looks like a spikey tooth she had broke off at the gum line. If we get to ride today, Mandy will have to use a hackamore.

Wow. Look at Lacey. Ghost looking good too. My husband wants to know how many panels in your round pen. I wanted to do this but do to cost he was going to do it himself. He's thinking lately though that maybe they aren't so expensive after all:')
I went to the old site on Yahoo to see what was happening. Lot's of banned folks over there now. Some were not happy campers:')
Speaking of round pens, I forgot to tell you that I lunged Sarah Lee in a PERFECT circle in the pasture! I wish I could get pictures.

Seriously, some used to do what they call "proud" cut. They left a little intact. The thinking was, the horse would still fill out, like a stallion.

Ghost's first riding lesson looks like it went well!
The babies are all growing up nice... Lacey is gonna be a pretty show prospect for someone. Maybe Josey too, but she is sure gonna go through an ugly duckling period for the next month or two while she sheds out.... Hard to imagine, all we know is the final horse will look much different than she is now!
Think Tuffy is actually going to end up bay?
How to check? Look under there.... If he's got them, you'll see them! If he doesn't you shouldn't see any trace of them.

BTW, my daughter registered to post on here, and still has not gotten a confirmation email....wonder what's up with that.
What old yahoo site? I saw one yesterday with current people asking why FR wasn't up and running. I didn't see anyone talking about being banned.
