When you were bagged, did the officer ask you if you knew how fast you were going and if so did you answer affirmatively (i.e. yea, I was going a bit fast, I was doing ~40, etc...?). If so, do driving school.
If you offered NO admissive chat or answered "I don't know, or no, I was within the posted range, then you stand a chance beating it in court. There are a couple of good websites that detail the means (which I don't have handy but google will probably find them) but then again, if your time's not worth it, just do the school...

Check your state's rules. There are on-line courses and defensive driving courses that will keep tickets off your driving record in Texas.

Police officer : Do you know what the posted speed limit on this road is ?
Jerry : It's got to be 55 .
Police officer : That's right it is . Do you know how fast you were going ?
Jerry : A lot faster than that !
Police officer : Step out of the car sir .
Jerry : Okay dokey
Police officer : Can I have your license and registration please ?
Jerry : Absolutely . Nikki !
Nikki : Yes .
Jerry : Would you mind bringing the officer the registration ?
Nikki : Not at all .
Police officer : I got you on the radar at 93 miles per hour .
Jerry : You must have gotten me when I slowed down to take that curve because for a while there I was doing well over 100 .

Go to the school.
It can be not only educational, but entertaining.

Your insurance company may charge you points on your next renewal, and then again it may not make any difference. It depends on the insurance company as they all rate differently. The only way to know is to ask your agent.
