41 posts and no pictures? I think we have a new record here!

"Or maybe she was going ice skating after the show?"

ROTFL! Or maybe they didn't have it in her size.

Well, it IS Californina. Maybe she was just trying to fit in. Even if I was that thin, I don't think I could go in front of a national audience dressed in that little. Not that she looked bad. Maybe it's just that her legs are so long she appears less clothed.

"Leno would have lost half his audience, for sure."

Especially when you consider that most of them don't even know who who the vice president is or who the resident is married to, if his jaywalking segments are any indication of their level of mental functioning.

Sometimes I think she may either (a) assume the audience knows what she's talking about or (b) realize that she didn't have enough time to explain it to some of the mindless halfwits in the audience and just leaves it alone.

They should have given her the top slot with 2 segments like whatshisname had. He was just not interesting...or funny.

Alan used to have a radio show on WNBC in NY back in the late 80s I think. He was actually pretty funny, and he came across as being almost conservative. He was always trashing Al Sharpton and the black racists. I don't know if he had to turn to the left to be on TV or what.

I don't think it's easy for her to play to an audience, most of which might not be as in to politics as she is.

Good point. If you saw the Jaywalking segment early in the show, Leno was asking "the man on the street" questions about mothers.

First he showed someone a picture of Chelsea Clinton and asked if they knew who she was. No. Then I think he gave them a hint, and the person guessed that she was President Bush's daughter.

Then he showed someone a picture of Barbara Bush. Again, the person (different from the first person) didn't know. After getting a hint from Jay, the person guessed that perhaps she was George Washington's mother.

I will post many more details (and many more PICTURES) from cheering for Ann on the "Tonight Show", to getting twelve Marines just back from Iraq into the FRONT ROW of the "Dennis Miller" show where Ann was SUPPOSED to be (but was NOT) -- to our post-FReep celebrations with forty-something FReepers and FRiends (including those twelve Marines) LATER...
...but for now, here are some AMAZING images from Ann's appearance on the "Tonight Show" this evening...
