We had an all together day because Jeff had night work at the firehouse we had it at his house.9 granchildren were there-6 were 6 and under and we had one happy Birthday and 5 Father's day's.Little Katie colected a lot of money because she told eveyone her tooth fell out-3 years old-a lie.

Light spills on the table
through glass
surprised to find itself
focused
by water
water cleans, heals, quenches
raises life from dust

February -
already, prim snowflakes
meld into murmuring water
smelling of spring
the season of kisses

Dark denial
outweighed by hatchling down -
swept away
on a passionate raindrop.
