Instead of Dimensional Door, we'll have to call it Door of the Dead.........in honor of Darks new pic.

Very dead thread here......must be the aliens are back.

Was that taken in your dreams last night?

Dreams that bad could be fatal............better than some days at work, yes?

"Let me guess, they're all paper forms that need to be filled out by hand, and all ask for *almost* the same information?"

Mostly, yes, and then, as if that weren't enough, it all has to be entered into the computer. But do you think that if the information is on the computer, it will allow you to print the information screen so you don't have to keep changing screens?? Nooooo.....that would be too d*mn logical.

"better than some days at work, yes?"

Without a doubt. I am really annoyed. We can't seem to get arrangements made to get Tinkerbelle back into "his" element (California). So now I have to get an affidavit written (like I need something else to do) and go through another series of court proceedings because lazy @$$ juvenile services dropped the ball and dumped this kid on us when he was their responsibility in the first place and now that we've got him, we're stuck with him unless we can get his mother to be by the d**n phone when she says she will! Poor little thing just doesn't like Arkansas. I guess he isn't too comformtable in the heart of "Deliverance" country. The foster parents who currently have him want him gone and these are people that take teenage boys with some of the worst of problems and do wonderfully with them, but this one is just too weird for them. So not only do I have to deal with this court s**t and get yet ANOTHER day behind on everything else, but now I have to find a new placement for him. The shortage we have of foster homes is desperate enough as it is, but just try to find one for a sexually confused pretty boy for whom this "detention" is just an irritating inconvenience and who thinks we should just simplify his life by supplying him with an airline ticket home (he get's uncomfortable on the bus), and on top of that, he's picky about what he eats, being vegan and all. This kid is a pain in the @$$!

Ooooooooh sweets. You have a rough one there. My condolences.

The state ought to pay Darks to haunt him!

"The state ought to pay Darks to haunt him!"

I'd be happy if he just chased him to the state line. It's only 8 miles from the foster home.

If I could, I'd poltergeist him into behaving.

He isn't really a behavior problem...exactly. He is more of a "weird" problem. It is like he is from an alien culture. Well, he IS from California. He just doesn't exactly fit in with (no pun intended) the boys down here in the hills, if you know what I mean. It's not like there's anything we can do for him, so basically, until somebody coughs up the money for a bus ticket, or he runs away again, we're stuck with taking care of him as if he were an endangered child.

Not sure that's the change you'd be looking for.
