I was wondering when someone was going to mention him. I really like him. He's nice looking, has a great voice without being too far out there, and at 19 he can certainly work on stage presence. Heck if Clay could do it so could Anthony!
Wow--- now there's a voice from the past!!! Not sure how many here will even remember him. I'm assuming you're referring to Bobby Vinton. Boy I sure don't see the resemblance. I think Anthony sings rings around him, and a darn sight better looking!
I love Anthony. He's an adorable young man and that voice is strong and pure. The fact that he wasn't supposed to be able to sing at all, just makes it that much better.
The last couple of weeks with him finally being able to relax and enjoy being out there have been much better performances. I hope he doesn't get voted off, because it is a joy to hear him improve each week.
He's really the only one that actually gets better each time.
That's good to hear. Personally it hasn't changed my opinion of him because he has seemed genuine. When I heard this today I remembered that the local FOX affiliate had done a segment on his church life. I felt he is probably working to change his life. He will still get my votes! Hope he can stay in it. If not I don't believe this will hurt him. He's a good performer.
That's okay Anna, I don't hold it against you. :-)
I liked Nadia in a lot of ways, but she looked mad everytime she sang. The girl had style though and I liked that. (well except the mohawk of course..)
Poor Carrie, she just looks like a stick standing there. Lovely voice though.
Bad Boy Records would be a great place for Scott. I like Scott, he sings from the heart. He may not be the best there, but he choses songs that mean something and that appeals to me a lot.
The only thing that really bothers me about this thing with Bo is that all of those people who say such nasty things about Scott, will probably give Bo a complete pass.
I don't mean you of course. I haven't seen you do that at all, but you know who I'm talking about from the AI thread.
Scott seems to have turned his life around too, but he gets no credit for it.
No he doesn't. I don't have a problem with Scott's record because I truly believe his girlfriend filed for spite. She waited until the next day. Generally a woman who is being in a violent situation will file immediately or not at all(fear retaliation). This is what my husband tells me because he was an asst. d.a. who handled the domestic violence cases. I do however have a problem with Scott's sulleness and attitude lately. It probably stems from lack of esteem due to his childhood, but I find I lose patience with him. :( I do believe Scott has a lot of talent. I like his voice, but the nerves have gotten to him lately. I love the song he sang Tuesday(one of my favorites) but again Luther is hard to sing. I'm glad Scott has made it far but based on Tuesday's performance he probably should have been the one to go. Of course Bo has had some performances in which he could have been the one to go. I hope Scott will rise above his upbringing and not succumb to it.
My vote still goes for Bo.
Brings to mind the Humble Pie song from thirty-some years ago: Thirty Days in the Hole...a greasy ho and a (somethin') cokespoon, and you're jailhouse bound. (Voice on record: How ya doin' boy, you're here for thirty days.)
Amen and Amen I am voting for BO every time and he will win AI
Ruh-roh!
Emily, please don't have a cow. You thought Bo was going to win. My sympathies.
These drug charges are fairly recent, unlike the charges against Scott for throwing a telephone at his girlfriend. (Who knows what she threw at him first???)
I think Bo will be more embarrassed to have it known that his real name is Harold.
Whether you loved him or hated him, Constantine added a spark to the competition that I for one will miss. Remember him doing "My Funny Valentine"? The guy has a future in Las Vegas, at least.
He pleaded guilty to the latter two misdemeanors in December 2004. (quote directly from the smoking gun as written)

That was only 4 months ago.
I love Humble Pie, I was just listening to I Don't Need No Doctor...
Humble Pie never gets old. Another track from that collection I loved is "You're so good for me".
Ah, yes...Bobby Vinton, the Polish Prince. He's still doing gigs up in Pennsylvania. I saw a rebroadcast on PBS and he sang to a full house of 60-ish fans.
Yes good one you can download there album from Napster..that's what I did...
Love that type of Rock!
