H.R. 654 requires guns now legally owned be placed under Title II of the Gun Control Act, and be treated like fully automatics--for starters, owners would have to register their firearms and themselves; submit to photographs and fingerprints and undergo a rigorous FBI clearance process that could last up to six months.
Cattlecars and gassing for those non-compliant can only be how far away? The state is getting nervous and right they should. They've strayed so far from the original path that they beckon revolution.
It is NOT about the security of the State, it is about the Security of a Free State. "A well regulated militia, necessary to the security of a free state the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
Good idea!
"Ya know, if these .50 weapons are used so frequently in crimes we should be flush with reports of them. The funny thing is that there just don't seem to be any. Somebody, like the Violence Policy Center, should either "put up or shut up".
They don't have to put up. They just have to make up scenarios of terrorism.
Have you noticed how the whole country flinches every time a terrorist threat emerges? Al Quaeda won the war with 9-11. It costs our economy billion$ every time there is a fake threat.
The gun grabbers are on the same team as the terrorists, using fake terror to remove freedom from our once great country.
"I've never understood why pro-gun groups don't take the message to the American people to refute ridiculous programs like that aired by 60 Minutes."
And what MSM outlet would give us pro-gun groups the free airtime? Or even allow us to actually buy primetime?
The gun grabbers get loads of free publicity because the MSM are on their team. Yep, Al Queada, VPC and Co., and the MSM are allies in the war on freedom.
My wife has been doing a lot of studying lately, about religion, history and politics. She says that the American people are afraid to accept the responsibility of governing themselves. That in their hearts, they really don't want a President, but a King. There are some domestic problems that can arise when I tell her she's right, but I may have to bite the bullet and admit it. After all, all the evidence points to her conclusion.
Kinda leaves us Individuals who demand respect for our Rights out in the cold.
Also tell your representative in the House to vote no on S. 2445 if it gets out of the Senate.

We also need to support "The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act." This is bill S. 397 in the U.S. Senate, and H.R. 800 in the U.S. House. The bill would protect the firearm companies from rediculous lawsuits.
Sounds like the gun runs through the streets by itself shooting people at every whim! (Gag!)
I saw a television advertisement aired by the National Rifle Association. It showed the Australian and United Kingdom governments rounding up the registered guns from the common peaceful populace. The people gave their sad comments of how they were stripped of their freedoms and it showed their firearms being destroyed.
When I saw that advertisement I became very angry. I started studying the subject of our liberties after that and haven't been the same since.
It was the late 1990s when I saw that ad. I wonder if it is still being aired? I haven't seen it in several years.
Hello, John. If you are who I think you are, how 'bout some words of wisdom here? Only thing I can think of to say is unprintable. Thanks.
Heh. Yup, that's the guy. Good reading. Thanks, archy. I appreciate it.
"Couldn't any rifle with a scope be considered a "sniper" rifle?? I'd love those people to come out here and try to take peoples rifles away...I think they'd have a bad case of lead poisoning..."
The irony of that is that those who order the bans and the confiscations will be nowhere to be found when it comes to carrying out their nefarious desgins. No, they will send some $25,000 a year civil servant to do their dirty work for them. The gun grabbers are the basest of cowards.
"Cattlecars and gassing for those non-compliant can only be how far away? The state is getting nervous and right they should. They've strayed so far from the original path that they beckon revolution."
Unfortunately, that is looking more and more likely. The Founders must be ashamed and disgusted that we allowed this once great and free nation to fall so far down the hole that is known as tyranny.
