Yep. Shined him up real good though lol.
Well it wasn't that funny. Got to go. I want to take a walk before my break over. Later
Make him pull them at a walk too. Blade wants to canter up them, but I pull him down and make him either walk or rack up them. If he walks, he can't just dawg walk either, he's got to keep some spring in his step. It seems to be working, he's getting built up fairly well for a non-quarter horse.
I'm kind of sold on Pryhana. Have you ever tried it. It's mid range price, and I have had great luck with it. I told Mack that or nothing. I've tried the more expensive one's and was not impressed.

Smart A$$:)

I've always made mine walk up hills. At CTR's you can get marked off for letting them go faster then a walk up and incline. Saftey reasons.

Wow. I hope they find that filly. She's gorgeous. I'm surprised the mare didn't pitch a fit (?)
Last year we used cattle tags made by Bayer. They did an excellent job, and last for about 3 months.
Well, I've cleaned stalls, raked the front where we want to seed some more, and I'm about to go out and spread horse poo. I'm wearing shoes that I always thought had such high arches that they felt funny. Maybe that's what I need.
I'm back from my afternoon walk, and am going to go weed wack in the pasture a bit. I've decided if I weed wack everyday out there a full battery charge that should help a bunch. This weed wacker isn't really designed to wack that much, but I'm still not comfortable taking the mower out there with allthe rocks. If I don't let it get ahead of me, the weeder should do pretty good. EVERYThing just grows so fast this time of year.
Becky
I don't think I've ever tried that one. I'll look it up in Jeffers and see if they have it. Thanks!
How do you use them?
Sounds like those ought to do the trick.
Well Mack is home, but the feed store was out of that brand...I'm trying to decide if I want to ride Rock with no spray. I might try some vinager. He is in his stall right now, and could be out on his pasture. He ventures out once in a while, but after 5 minutes or so he's running back to his stall. It's kind of funny, but that's how bad the flies are here.
Becky
After saying we didn't have any yet, I just noticed our first flies here, today... We don't get them all that bad though. I've got new fly masks for all the horses, I'll go out in a bit and put them on.
Here's where I found your horse... In that hole with all the logs. There isn't even anything to eat there, she was just clammering around checking it out...
Cyn was quite entertaining with the mower... "Let's see, I push here and..."
I love that last picture
This thing sure makes a lot of noise and eats alot... but it ain't got my personality!
