I hope you do feel better today.
How's my baby doing? I worried about him last night. He probably doesn't even realize I'm gone.
We're doing alright. I think we're getting along just fine. NO arguments yet. LOL
WEll, I think the Maalox did help. It was after I gave him the first dose that he ate 1/2 a feeding. I gave him another dose late in the afternoon. When I fed last night he did not come over to start eating, but sometime thru the night he ate all of it. This morning he started eating his morning feed. I'll check in a while to see if he finished it.
Sure sounds like ulcers to me, and they flair up after he has been worked some. I'm wondering if giving him Maalox before a ride would help????
Becky
YOu will take lots of pictures right:)?
Becky
I'd think it wouldn't hurt to give him some pretty regularly for awhile, riding or not.
Need you ask? ;~D
It's nasty weather here today too:(
Tomorrow it's suppose to be 70...crazy weather.
Becky
:), Well, thought it would be fun to say it to you:)
Becky
WEll, I plan on giving it to him till he is fully recovered, after that, I'm not sure what to do. The direction on the bottle for humans is not to take it longer then 2 wks running.
I imagine it will be an ongoing experiment till I get the right routine.
Becky
Uh huh ;~D
The sun is just starting to come over the tops of the trees into the pasture, it'll get warmer by the minute. I'm gonna go shower and such...
I'm gonna change my shirt, dog hair all over it!
My whole life is covered in dog hair! ~HairOfTheDog ;~D
I don't know if it would help to give him Maalox before a ride or not, but I don't see how it could hurt him.
Are there actually people in this world who aren't covered with dog hair, or cat hair, or horse hair (or a combination of the three)?
I use it when the mares hit their foal heat and the diarreha starts on the foals. Also sometimes shortly after birth, depends on the foal.

So is my back. (nice visual, eh?_
We can always count on you for plenty of visuals Keith!
Rose, I'm so sorry about your MIL. Prayers for her and your family.
She starts off with her little entourage following...
We also went on a little walk through the woods :~D
Good first ride, and I think Bay appreciates carrying a little rider around for once!
