I think so. He's lost some weight and still dragging a little but he is off the antibiotics. We are slowly exercising him. I really don't think this was Rhino. My vet says even if vac they can still get it but a weaker case but he responded just a little too fast to the medication in my opinion for viral but I'm no horse expert. It's going around though.
janis
Well I am glad he is finally on the mend, it must be a big weight of your mind.
I am going to go and see if "fear factor" is on the box now, I hardly ever watch TV but that is one program that I love. I couldn't be a contestant though! Urgh! I would puke if I had to eat anything yukky! : D
My baby has no bangs ?
A good friend of mine who was in England for several years has picked up a lot of British slang. It makes conversation very intersting sometimes.
LOL Blew your cover, eh?
I can't wait to use my new found knowledge on my British friend. I love crackin' her up. One of my favorite sayings is one I saw on a movie called "Shirley Valentine". Have you seen it? Anyway, she's talking about a friend who always shows off and says, "she's the kind of person that if you say you've been to paradise, she has a season ticket. If you have a headache, she has a brain tumor". That brain tumor quote is one I use to crack my British friend up, since we have a mutual friend who acts just like that.
How can you watch Fear Factor? I want to puke just watching them eat that stuff... No participation necessary!
I watch it too. I think survivor political and sissy but on fear factor, I would not do that kind of stuff but they are really fighting to win.
Well fear factor wasn't on : ( so I got to watch something called "what not to wear". It has some good points, but some of the stuff they make these women wear are awful! If these presenters were around me and spoke to me the way they do, they would be nose on the ground begging for mercy! Grr. I wanted to shout, what about what you are wearing?????
This is why I should just stick to books.............LOL
Oh, don't get me wrong, I couldnt be a contestant on fear factor at all, I am scared of worms/maggots/snakes. I hate things flying around my head. I scream when I see mice, dead or alive...........big phobia there...and if I am say on a ladder i have a tendancy to step off! Not a good thing, trust me! I couldn't possibly eat anything like brains, and I would freak at cockroaches!
Nope, I'll send deaconjim instead! LOL
I have a huge phobia of spiders. An awful thing to have when you're working in a barn and the spiders can get as big as silver dollars. *shudders and looks around*
well I am going to say goodnight for the evening, Tommy has woken and is unsettled so I need to go read to him. Night!
Good night!
I saw the cockroach one too and didn't like it. Adults can make their own decisions but IMO kids usually gonna do what the parents want. I wouldn't let my kids do something like that.
Anyhow, I took a nap when I got home and now can't sleep so I'm going on in to work awhile . Beats laying here staring at the ceiling:') Talk to yall Sat or Sun when I get back from my inservice. Have a good horse week!
Good morning.
Becky
I've never seen a black widow, but I would have had a fit if one ended up on me. That thing would have gone flying into the next country.
I don't think it's fair to drag kids into things like that. I felt rather bad for them.
Good Morning! Doing any pole work today? (ie ground poles or cavaletti's.) :-)
