And I feel so embarrassed afterwards. Hence, the sheepish grin, or was a doggish grin? Whatever.

Can you just sleep on a towel? Will they wake you then?

No, no. It depends on whether or not they need the towel for something.

I'm baaaaack!!!! Finally.
We were without power from 8:30 until about 3:15. How did people survive without electricity?
Thank everyone for the sweet kitten pictures. BadPenny and I love them. :)

Happy Chocolate Covered Raisins Day!

In Port Jervis, someone hit the NJ transit train bridge with a truck of piled up logs, and left one in the road.
No-one stopped to move the log, and I almost got rammed making an attempt to pull over to do just that.
Still craving sugar dates and raisins.
(Couldn't find any cheap enough to be worth the unit price per pound.)

Good evening, Darks.
"I almost got rammed making an attempt to pull over to do just that."
Sure glad you escaped that situation; Happy Houdini Day.
Sounds like you need a sugar fix! :)
Happy Thursday!

Thanks!
My final decision was to leave the log where it was at and let the Port Jervis DPW guys deal with it.
After the guy behind me refused to sloew down but continued to follow me to the curb, it was time to get outta Dodge.
One would think that a blinking turn signal would mean something to someone.
*chuckle*
Sugar sounds quite good at the moment.
Going for a cup of tea, Constant Comment.

Sometimes, on reflection, we wonder why we did certain things, took the risk, tried to help others. In the end, we feel good about ourselves for acting when others didn't.
You deserve their gratitude for your public-spirited actions to save those who would have collided with the log.
