deaconjim had someone who was serious and had the cash and wanted Lightning and Misty, unfortunatly he was recently involved in a serious car accident. He had many problems including brain injury and is just now getting better. I'm not sure if he can drive yet or not. I havent wanted to ask too much.
He wanted them for trail riding. f he doesnt get better......We will probably advertise them.
I want to keep Sugar and Smokey.

I thought I would post what a chip butty was for those that don't know.
I found two recipes: take your pick!

For those not up on the lingo what Americans call chips we call crisps and what they call French fries we call chips and a butty is a down market sandwich.

A good chip butty would consist of thickly cut white bread dripping in butter (none of your plastic Maggy Ann) with thick chips fried in lard (stuff your healthy sunflower oil) and covered in salt and malt vinegar, and maybe a smothering of HP or Daddies brown sauce.

OR............This one is written in England, so if you need a translator let me know! LOL

OK - for those who want to know - the best chip butty goes like this.

Go to the Pub. Drink enough to feel good, and want something to eat on the way home.

Dont stop at the kebab van on the corner.

go to the 'chippie' and get a large portion of chips - sprinkle libraly with salt and malt vinegar, and get them wrapped.

put 'em in your coat to keep you and them warm (this always works best in winter) and j-walk home. The walk allows the excess frytol (industrial multigrade lard) to soak into the paper, and the chips to soak up the salt and malt.

When you get home - unwrap and place as many as you think necessary (you are drunk, so this will probably be more than is actualy feasable) between 2 slices of thick pre-sliced white bread (you know tha plastic stuff that lasts for months in the larder despite saying it contains no preservatives!)

Add sauce if you want - ketchup is best

Try and eat in as few bites as possible without completely ruining your shirt! Remember you have been to the pub and eating quickly seems such a good idea.

Eat the rest of the chips with your fingers while watching the crap TV they put on after midnight over here .

Feel imensely satisfied with your self for making the best sadwich ever!

Sleep (getting into bed first is an option).

Remember this is only truely satisfying with english chips - not french fries.

I think the second one is best : )
Oh BTW I have finished mine! : D

Love the recipes :)

While you're waiting for posts, help me come up with a name for the colt. His sire is QuincsGrandFinale and his dam is Fantasized. Tradition usually incorporates both names but that's not necessary. I can use only twenty spaces and two spaces are used up with TE, the initials of our ranch.

You'd have to say that my horse is ugly before I'd take offense
I think my favorite movie quote of all time is "Sir, you can say whatever you want about me, but I'm gonna have to ask you not to talk about my horse that way." From Hidalgo.

This picture won the Eclipse award. That's pretty amazing. Go to her web site, and read the story.

That's the kind of picture that captures such a rare moment you can't even figure out what's happening! Horses don't just end up in that position attached to handlers that are stinding still :~D

I was gonna quote that line but I couldn't think of what it exactly was.

You're not gonna believe what I just did. While my kids were at Tae Kwon Do I took a run over to the animal control office, just to look around. I came home with this teeny tiny little dog that I could NOT leave in that cage, scared to death. It'll probably chase the horses and get stepped on.
