Well, I've already done all the foot work...got the prices and compared them with Walmart...Aldis beats Walmart almost across the board and the few cents that it might be more expensive is more than compensated by the much shortened drive...it's just two miles away.
So all this was was data entry...after that it was just point, click and print. And really, I buy the same stuff over and over, mostly. Milk, burger, bread, oj...and so on. Aldi's not a big store, so I'm not tempted like I am in Walmart. And they don't carry vast and ever-changing items. I just get what I need and get out.
I was pretty pleased with myself, though...minus the ice cream sandwiches that I bought extra, I had it down to the penny.
Hangin' wallpaper is basically impossible.
I'd rather have some way to just put a laser-reprographic sort of paint on the walls, then set up some kind of spinning laser printing gizmo in the middle of the room... preview it on screen and then hit "print".
All done. :-)
Definately the guy on the left.
The boys just finished their ice cream. They were so tickled! Made me feel good I got it for 'em. :-)
No way...I am not I-talian!!
Not I-talian. I-rish.
The guy on the left looks too much like a SLADite.
The geek glasses are the square ones....
Evening Ramius - actually I have, although they are such a rare occurance, I generally note the year with a asterisk.
[sigh] Yah... You probably even notice when prices change, then? Dad and Dona are always complaining about how cheese is now .10 more a pound at suchandsuch, but they can still get it for only .05 more a pound at someplaceelse.
Not only do they have the mental database of all the prices, but also all the *past* prices going back months and months at all of the various stores.
I just can't cope. I don't know what cheese is supposed to cost. I just go to the store and look at the cheese, and if the price is something I'm willing to pay, then I buy it. If it is too much then I don't buy it. The actual price number is not a variable that I bother to store in long term memory. :-)
I just mentioned to Matthew that my birthday is coming up. "I'll be 42." says I.
Matthew replied "I'd be 21 if you'd had me when you were supposed to!"
hehehe...
LSA and I did one wall in one room and I was banished to 'an outside project'. However, we successfully wallpapered five ceilings. Most other home improvement projects we do together. Wallpapering? LSA does it on her own and very well indeed.
They'll make a special point to get cheese if they are within 10 miles of a Costco.
Oh - you're going to Puyallup? There's a Costco there, we can get some cheese.
Or coffee ;~D
I think if you live around those kind of people you become the opposite. 2J's kids will be just like us :~D
Well...I do okay taking it down...
Wallpapering a *ceiling*???? Are you insane? What did the police report say?
Heck, they ought to just call it "floorpaper". That would actually make more sense, and be way easier.
There's a reason they don't call it "ceilingpaper".
:-)
Mine?
Mine?
Mine?
