That's good news on Nana's hip, especially since the doc's were able to give that positive of a prognosis.
Glad to hear Scruffy-dog is healing up. regarding the scars, they will simply add 'character'. Give him a hug for us.
Whoa...that was weird. Remember I said I had tried to put an ad on petfinder but found they wouldn't take pictures? I wanted to just delete the ad, but it didn't show up right away, so I couldn't.

It finally went up tonight, and I right away got a very odd variation on the Nigerian scam e-mail...from a guy saying he had some wealthy client that really, really wanted to adopt my cat, and if I'd just send him bank info, he'd give me $5000 for her...and a bunch of stuff about them not using animals for experimentation.

Spooky.

I took the ad down. I'll try locally.
There was a proposal floating around in congress at that time to allow each GI a "free" BATF tax stamp for one AK47 apiece. This would have been a government "freebie" so the troops could have an AK at Saddam's expense. Or if they didn't want to keep it, they could legally sell it to a Class III dealer for mucho buckos. It wouldn't have cost the taxpayer a dime.
The absolute horror expressed by liberals and rinos killed it instantly. "We don't need more guns on the streets". What they would have had was more registered automatic weapons in collections, NOT "on the streets".
I inherited my fathers "nazi memoribilia". A P38 that some German didn't need any longer. In those days, you could bring back any enemy weapon you wanted provided it was not full-auto, and you didn't bring back any ammo. No shootings on the troop ships on the way home, they thought.
Way weird! Some folks have WAY too much time on their hands.
I most certainly will, osage!

Thanks for asking about him. :-D
How bizarre!
Here it is...bad formatting and spelling and all. Bizarre.

Umm....I think I'll pass. Bizarre indeed! Really creeps me out.
Ugh...power is flickering.
Good thinking! LOL!!
That's good news... I swear... I had a vision of Corin pacing a waiting room when we talked and prayed about that earlier.

Corin... were you wearing blue sweatpants and a grey sweatshirt by any chance? If so... I'm gonna switch careers...
The LOST phenomenon has grown to such an extent that Charlie's band, DriveSHAFT actually has a website now! With a memorial page for Charlie here.
What great fun! And Dominic looks quite handsome in some of those shots!
Evening Winmag. My FIL has a Luger obtained in a similar fashion. Very nice handling firearm.
Whoa!

I'm still amazed that he called the moment we all started praying at once. We're an unusual group of folks, but the paranormal fan in me wants to say we're "connected" in some weird, crazy way.
That is amazing, website for DriveSHAFT. Charlie had a good role again last night. Glad Doc decided to open up the briefcase.
Don't think I haven't seen the keywords. *grumble*
Wasn't me! I'm with ya!
Yeah, I was thrilled when I heard about it but just now took a look.

I'm seriously hooked on that show and everyone at work knows who my favorite character is. *grin*
Smoke and Oakum? What's wrong with that? :-)

[he, said, innocently... having not been party to any keyword incidents.]
Well, I'll pretend for a minute that you have no clue what we discussed earlier.

I mistakenly revealed a silly phobia (alas, another one!) I have with latex balloons. The jokes have written themselves ever since, with some reference made to ShootMoot surprises. :P

I fully expect to arrive and be promptly dumped into a deep tank of dark water filled with sharks and have a small rickety raft covered with cockroaches and balloons toosed in as my only escape.
