The Fossil "Record" is the one that is discredited.

Well....it's an easy solution really. Who are you going to trust? God, or science? It's up to you. :-)

So the world that we live in and interact with is deemed science then you and me are science.

The only thing that is discredited are people whose idea of reasoning is to swat other people in the head with the Bible.

Oh, and the biblical record does NOT show an earth roughly 6000 years old.
That is a straw man.

No it doesn't.
Just because you found some website that says so does not mean that is what the Bible actually says.

I am a Creationist.
I don't believe the tortured interpretations that conclude the Bible states that the earth is only 6,000 years old.

"The Fossil "Record" is the one that is discredited." Unfortunately for the "biblical creationist literal interpreters", the great age of the universe rests on a LOT more data than just the fossil record.

I think you blew your cover with your VERY first posting to FR. Christians on this site by a great majority have no such confusion over the subject matter of the absurd post that you put here. In fact, we never even talk about it.
If you've lurked here awhile, you should know what a ZOT is. You're fixing to be the recipient of one.
